Product: Anova Precision Port Handheld Vacuum Sealer Kit
Model: ANHV01-US00
Condition: New
Small but mighty:
The USB rechargeable, long lasting battery allows for up to 150 seals off a single charge.
Combine that with an ultra compact form factor and you’ve got the ability to vacuum seal at the touch of a single button, and easily stash your sealer away when not in use.
At a sleek 3" x 3" x 3.7", you might even just want to leave it out on the counter for convenience.
Keep it fresh, food nerds:
Along with sealing for sous vide cooking, vacuum sealing is a super quick and easy way to extend the shelf life of most foods.
Perishables like meats, vegetables, cheeses, grains, coffee and even leftovers all stay fresher, for longer.
Marinade friendly:
This handy handheld sealer has been specially designed to keep liquids from entering the pump while sealing moist foods.
Should any unwanted liquids find their way inside the machine, the vacuum base is removable and easy to clean.
Plug and play with Precision Port:
The Precision Port™ airway on these bags makes sealing easier than ever.
Just line up the valve, apply pressure, and start sealing at the touch of a button.
With the easy-zip top, you’ll be able to seal, open, and reseal that bag as many times as needed, for maximum freshness.
They are compatible with other vacuum sealer bags too

@bobogobo@dontbuyit My guess is that bags will be available until Anova pisses off Amazon. The special bags are just a tiny bit pricey, typical price is 20 bags for $10. Nominally reusable; lots of work to clean them adequately.
Agreed, the bags are pretty meh for reuse unless whatever you put in there really only requires a quick rinse out with water. I got one but really just to use the handheld with vacuum containers and burplids, 'cause I want to be lazy and not bring containers to my regular vacuum sealer all the time
@bobogobo I bought one here a few months ago, and really like it. Fetching the FoodSaver for every little thing is an annoyance, and this, while its motor isn’t as powerful, does a nice job. Holds its charge surprisingly well. I just wish Anova made a smaller version of their bags.
@dontbuyit@shotgunx worth noting that this was a pricing error and we were losing money due to a miscalculation in shipping cost (It has since been corrected)

It doesn’t completely suck.
Will this thing give me hickeys??
(asking for a friend!)
You need the Adult Entertainment Accessory Kit for that. (Not currently in stock.)
If we use this on the inflatable turkey will we be able to get it back in the box?
Currently $12 at sister site
@dontbuyit you saint
@dontbuyit but that doesn’t get you $15 off an IRK
Tradeoffs…
@djslack True. If this and the IRK are the only items that you want in the Mehrathon, overpaying to subsidize the IRK is the way to go.
@djslack @dontbuyit And by “subsidize” you mean “justify,” right?
@dontbuyit the other sister site sells same crap for $19.99. Wondering should I buy this? Does it really work? How easy is to get replacement bags?

@dontbuyit $12??? I paid 30 bucks for the one I bought here!
@dontbuyit Just saw this. Contacted support, hopefully they can give me $3 back.
