When Apple did that, my (then) 15 year old son came bursting into our room the next day saying someone had hacked into his phone! He said “WHO is U2 and WHY are they on my phone?” He was so ticked off and had no idea how it got there. I was cracking up and told him Apple gave everyone a copy of U2’s newest release and he said “well…I didn’t ask for it but at least I wasn’t hacked” (what he didn’t realize was that he already knew, and liked, several older U2 songs because they are on our playlist…but he never paid attention to who the artist was. He deleted the new songs).
It has now become a running joke in our house before every new iPhone release….wondering if Apple is gonna push something to our phones (without asking) or not.
I love how all the reviews but one on the first page of reviews at Walmart are marked as ‘Incentivized Review’, and the one that isn’t is quite entertaining to read.
Also, multiple amazon reviews mention the headset melting while charging.
@Knightp Yeah, the few Amazon reviews and photos of the headset burning and melting due to charging it makes me wonder if this is the reason it was dumped on Meh…
I used to have a Samsung Level U that lived around my neck during the day and loved the convenience of it. This looks similar, except it has the “shove into your ear” buds that I can’t stand.
If it had the “rest in your ear” style (is there a term for this?) I’d be ordering multiple of these. Need spares!

I’ve never tried these but I’ve liked every Anker/Soundcore headphone/earbud I’ve tried so far. They make good stuff generally.

Is anyone else having difficulty getting these to pair?
These stopped working with my iphone11 after a month so would only recommend you get these as “disposable” head sets!!
