@outz If you don't see why it's important to compare the same model to the same model for reviews and pricing, then you're beyond help. Nice touch, starring all of your own posts, too.
@Kerig3 I use these on my XBONE, connected to the 3.5 mm headset jack on the controller. They work fine but I think the XBONE controller has high sensitivity. There is an intermittent crackling sound on the mic channel, I am told. Not loud, but it's there.
I found these only ok. The on ear style makes for sweaty contact. As a plus the headphone jack is pretty long, good for hooking up to a computer and having some range of motion.
I won one the first time around, then bought two more. I can't say how well (or not) the mic is, since I never used it, but as headphones, they're very good and the bass isn't overly exaggerated.
I like that the cord is replaceable. I just use a simple 3.5mm male-male cord on mine.
These are decent, great for the price even, if you are ok with on ear, and need a boom mike. I bought two for Tuesday last time, sold one set, and yet I still end up using my 808 duo's most of the time for music listening since I prefer over the ear and the Bluetooth is great on the 808 duos. Also the bass is better on the 808's. That said, these are a good price for what they are though, if you are considering them. The treble is better on these...
Careful everybody, I bought these last time and had issues. I called and emailed support several times, but no response. I emailed the President, no response. Don't buy their products, terrible company that does not care about their customers.
@ronpetralia I, for one, am shocked, SHOCKED, that Obama didn't get back to you immediately on this issue. Typical DC fat cat ignoring the plight of the common man.
@ronpetralia You might find a few folks around who will disagree with you. I bought two of these last time, and although the cord couldn't hold up to a little boy who abuses electronics, they've been great. And every single contact I've hhad with these folks is anything but meh.
@ronpetralia It's really out of the ordinary that you didn't get a response. Maybe your messages got lost somehow. Try the support page here on the site https://meh.com/support and I'll tag @hollboll so she can try to see if your original messages were ever received.
We looked into this and I'm sure we would have been happy to help you…but we never received any email or contact from you.
As @Thumperchick said up above, the correct way to contact us is through https://meh.com/support, why not give us a shout and we'll see if there's anything we can do.
And just to remind everyone we don't offer phone support of any kind, so I'm not quite sure who you were calling but it wasn't us!
@thumperchick@jont I may be reading @ronpetralia's post wrong but I think they're saying they reached out to the manufacturer and never got a response from the manufacturer. Not anything about meh support.
That said, if that ever does happen let us know so we can make it right.
I bought one of these last time and am very satisfied. I use them almost exclusively for conference calls via cell phone or computer. First time I used it I had an issue, learned that the boom mike's plug must be pushed fully into the headset's socket, but after that it's been fine. Note that this unit does not provide sidetone when on phone calls, not a big deal to me.
I use a pair of Able Planet noise cancelling headphones. For the money they really do make a nice product. For this much money, they're even nicer. Alas, I have no need for another set of headphones.
I bought these when they were a 2-for-Tuesday, and I love them. I had several sets of headphones before, because each had to have a different plug, but this one comes with all the adapters I need. Very comfortable, and great for the price.
I got these the last time they popped up. The description is no joke, the headphone speakers suck, but they get the job done. I was in a bit of a pinch as my good headset stopped working with my PS4, and I had some bad luck with headsets so I didn't want to buy another one, so I bought this because it was cheap, and it worked. Now I just wear a nice pair of headphones I have with this headset around my neck for the mic.
Considering everyone that I know that has Turtle Beach headphones has them wrapped up in duct tape after a week (Turtle Beach seems to use really shitty plastic), I still felt ahead of the curve on how they've held up at least.
I've got three of these (from here, over the months). Use at work with Lync (Skype for biz) conferencing. Very clear sound, guess their thing is the clarity allows you to decrease the volume and save your hearing. Slight issue with HP 8460 laptop/Win7 while plugged into dock, mic tends to not work initially, unplug/replug mic cable seems to always fix it. I'd get them again, but have two spares. Very tight on gigantic pumpkin heads like mine.
My new kitten loves to chew on the wires of my earbuds, and I wanted to see if I could get my Bluetooth to work. I was sure the description mentioned Bluetooth. I just received the headphones. And I see no mention of Bluetooth, and no instructions other than a diagram. So I came here to look for help.
@geminijane Looks like bluetooth isn't a feature on these - I don't see any mention of it in the specs, on the sale page, or on amazon for this product. Maybe you can teach your headphone cord to defend itself from kitty noms?
@Occasionally that would be @mfladd - and you're right, the gotm isn't getting nearly enough blame. I guess that means meh isn't making as many mistakes!
@traceycole try plugging into the headset/ear phone jack instead..that is all I did with similar set up...my pc detects the device and gives selection of headset as well as others, pick headset..make sure mute is off on pc and the switch on the headset. (Not suggesting you would make such a silly mistake, but been there done that!) one more suggestion, make sure mic is fully plugged into ear piece..otherwise it all goes south :)
Anyone else getting a terrible electrical hum? I've got 2 pairs of jacks for speaker/mic on my machine but both are picking up terrible noise. I can easily blame the PC, but could it be something with the headset? As it is, it's unusable for business calls.
@JerseyFrank Yes, on both headsets I have bought during two different meh sales. (I just never tried the mics before now.) Seems like it's related to the button on the control box.

TWO minute in first. Fuck yea!
@studerc I saw that before you changed it. :)
@xarous haha. It changed to two minutes as i clicked "say it". Had to go back to revise...so much more impressive!
I hear these are pretty good.
@xarous I'm using mine right now. They are good. And really comfy. Although I leave one ear open for ambient sound.
When you don't post the amazon compare link, is it because it's not really that much of a deal here?
@gnext2 Because they're $14 on Amazon with free Prime shipping. $1 more than here when you count shipping.
Got this for 12....mics good, sounds mediocre
last time on meh
2015-03-26 Able Planet Headphones with Boom Mic & Cord Controls $12
https://meh.com/deals/able-planet-headphones-with-boom-mic
so $4 cheaper today
Are these the same ones? http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00TADC6CS
@xarous those don't have a mic, so this is a more featured model.
@klocwerk Thanks, I was wondering about that.
These were $12 on 3/26, then 2 for Tuesday at $18 on 5/5, then today for only $8 each. This is the best price so far.
@cengland0 Look at you, breaking it all down and stuff.
Meh
Like having 2 mini speakers docks, 1 per ear.

meh reviews
@outz That's not even the same model... ::sigh::
@BrentD oh man, you're right! meh is selling the TL210M - that link was for the TL210BMM-U! wow, i can't believe i missed that one.
i'm sure the company put tons more effort into the TL210M than the TL210BMM-U. no quality control issues this time!
@outz Well when the exact model is 14 bucks shipped and that one is 46, I think pointing out that distinction is warranted...
@BrentD yeah, in order to be a valid comparison they should defninitely be the same price as a item-a-day deal website.
@outz I guess you're just an idiot then. Fair enough.
@BrentD yeah, we can't all be as well versed on cheap headsets as you. Keep up your crying and meh might send you another box of tissues.
@outz An idiot AND incapable of rational thought. I'm impressed.
@BrentD lol. tissues are on their way! should be at the door by the time you get home from school.
@outz If you don't see why it's important to compare the same model to the same model for reviews and pricing, then you're beyond help. Nice touch, starring all of your own posts, too.
FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT
@BrentD you're going to run out of tears before your tissues arrive! hold back man, hold back.

@marvelljones Of course this is a "just created seller" so caveat emptor...
How well do these work with Xbox One & Xbox 360? Limitations? Are they amplified? Thx
@Kerig3 I use these on my XBONE, connected to the 3.5 mm headset jack on the controller. They work fine but I think the XBONE controller has high sensitivity. There is an intermittent crackling sound on the mic channel, I am told. Not loud, but it's there.

Bought them in March. I think they're pretty allright.

@Shamburglar He should have started a change.org petition. That would have elicited a response from Obama.
@Thumperchick - Yes.
@Shamburglar - Obama would be easier to reach.

@hollboll That's how I read it too.
Do these have the option for game audio through the headset along with the mic working for ps4?
I bought one of these last time and am very satisfied. I use them almost exclusively for conference calls via cell phone or computer. About Linx Audio
Bought 2 pair last time around. The headphones are pretty good, but the boom mike doesn't seem to work at all. And yes, I do seat it firmly.
@kaighintze I had a similar problem, and it turns out you just need to adjust the volume to high. I have no idea why that works, but it does.
No Georgia Red. . . for that alone, meh.
@jrwofuga good to see you again!
@JonT finally got out of jail. wifi sucks in there.
I bought these when they were a 2-for-Tuesday, and I love them. I had several sets of headphones before, because each had to have a different plug, but this one comes with all the adapters I need. Very comfortable, and great for the price.
I figure for $8 these are perfect for my chromebook, which has the headset jack instead of the headphone and microphone jacks separate.
@Jester6641 I don't know what I was expecting, but that weren't it...

Can't get the mic to be recognized by my mic jack on Windows 7 Dell PC. Help?
@traceycole try plugging into the headset/ear phone jack instead..that is all I did with similar set up...my pc detects the device and gives selection of headset as well as others, pick headset..make sure mute is off on pc and the switch on the headset. @JerseyFrank Yes, on both headsets I have bought during two different meh sales. (I just never tried the mics before now.) Seems like it's related to the button on the control box.
@JerseyFrank I've had that. Try turning the volume down on the jog dial. That helped. I think the mic is very sensitive.
@densa @cappo yeah, definitely the button. Whenever my hand is near it, it buzzes. It's ok if I just don't mess with it. Definitely "meh"
man, i am loving these, and i hope they make a repeat appearance, because i need another one.
