a ponderment for those of us who do not live alone

Those that live by themselves are quite comfortable in their attire but that attrie leaves a lot to be desired.
I ask those of you who do live with someone special, what inspires you to dress the way that you do? My assumption is to share a space with someone, on some conscious level you want to impress them visually. What is your stylistic response to your muse?

I dress for my kitty. He prefers a touch of catnip.

Or we’re just foul bachelor frogs and dress however we want anyways. They’re living with me, they know what they’ve gotten into.
