@blaineg@katbyter@ponagathos I can confirm that the chocolate chips are present in the bars that I bought. You can ship me yours for inspecting and evaluation if you’re not convinced, but the testing is destructive. There is presently a three-month backlog of samples to process.
These are all right, but they’re only about as good as a regular generic granola bar you can buy at any grocery store. They’re not nearly as good as regular Kind bars.
@Bloodshedder The regular ones have a coating of chocolate on the bottom which I find decadent.
I do agree that these are about as good as store brand granola bars, but only slightly more expensive for a more convenient snack size (and with a bit less sugar).
I bought these last time, and they’re okay, but there’s no way I would finish another box of them this year. Things do get old when you eat them too often.
@werehatrack Thankfully I don’t have that (I do get cantankerous when I don’t have my staple foods that my stomach has come to rely on though).
I do hope these things last though. They seem to handle cold storage and defrosting well (but they do need warming up to get them to that “chewy” level from that “hammer” hardness).

Based on those photos, the chocolate chips seem to be imaginary.
@ponagathos Seriously!
/giphy show me the chocolate chips!
@katbyter @ponagathos I prefer non-imaginary chocolate.

not high/hungry enough (yet)
@tysontomko You need better Stuff.
Got these when they were first on sale. For $0.25 a pop they’re a great snack to have on hand for when you need a quick treat.
Canola oil? No renamed rapeseed oil for me. Canadian Oil Low Acid? Joke. Causes inflamation.

@zippyus I think someone said zapping them a few seconds in the microwave helps?
@Kyeh @zippyus Mine caused no issues. YJMV.
