@RiotDemon I’m half tempted to buy the 999 pack just to see if someone at the warehouse actually counts out exactly 333 3-packs.
However, the other half of my thought process which says to not shell out $150 bucks on more masks, given I already have a bunch of them, seems to be winning the day thankfully.
@RiotDemon my guess is either the elastic band on the mask dries out(unlikely unless its really old and been stored in heat)or the adhesive in the packaging dries out.
@jaynedough@RiotDemon I remember reading about N95’s, that what makes them effective is an electrostatic charge. That might be the bit they’re saying expires.

Thanks, J. Interesting article. This one concludes there’s no significant reduction in effectiveness due to electrostatic charge loss.

I stayed up for this? Meh. Time for bed.
@sstaver I hear ya! Off to bed myself.
Here we go again… another broken timer. Guess this will be another 1.5 hour item
@reedmo Or maybe it’s part of the fool…
@redimo
Yup.
I thought this was supposed to be April foolios, not jokers delight.
This time change stuff is just ridic.
Get Meh’d.
As my father used to say, “Garbagio!!”
Expires in September? I didn’t know masks expire.
You can totally wear 999 masks by then.

The last box of KN95 masks we bought (not from here) are so darn tight we can’t even wear them!
@Lynnerizer
Meh
Checking the timer in the JavaScript, this ends 6:40 AM eastern.
This feels like they are begrudgingly giving us a mehrathon…
Specs say there are 90 in the box - title says there are 99.
This is April fools joke, it’s only masks for the entire Meh-a-thon
