Same deal as July 30th, for the same price, but with 2 less Canvas Panel Boards (10 vs 12).
On the plus side, the (young) recipient was thrilled!
A lot of colors for a reasonable price, if you consider price per item.
Be aware that the previous bundle seemed to include 3 of each color so there were only about 20 unique colors. Not sure if this will be the case now but it seems likely.
@squishybrain
These little craft paints sell from 50 cents to a dollar or so apiece at Walmart (more elsewhere) so $39 isn’t a bad price if they are nice colors.
But it really depends what kind of crafts you do. They work on paper, on wood you need more coats. They aren’t highly pigmented. Basically they don’t work for projects where oil paints or enamel would be optimum.
@brasscupcakes Agreed that it’s not a bad value but I bought the last bundle thinking that there would be more unique colors so I was a bit disappointed. Given that, it’s still something that kids or folks that are into decorative crafts would like (cause of the number of metallics). I use these for painting scale models so more natural colors or primaries (of which there were some) would have been preferable.
I think this will work well for my Tea Bag art Just dip and drag. I sell a price between 500,000 to 1,000,000. Just hard to get dried paint off my sack
While I feel this is an okay-ish value overall from a price-per-piece perspective, I feel that most folks would be better off with a smaller kit of colors that they hand-picked. As someone mentioned before, the last time this deal existed, there were three bottles of each of the colors that were included in the assortment. So I got twenty different colors. I’m not sure if there were different color assortments.
I was disappointed in the colors I received; no primary colors, no white. Of the twenty colors I received, seven were metallic or glitter, two were flesh tones, and one was a wax. The remaining ten were satin black, pink, purple, kelly green, two were lighter shades of blue, and four were on the brownish side of red; all are either matte or satin, no gloss.
If you’re okay with this, it’s a good deal, I would have rather spent more and picked what I wanted.

@roninido I got seven (!) “fleshtone” bottles. Three varieties in there, but they’re all effectively the same color. Quite disappointed in the variety of colors. Wish I’d read these comments first.
@phloopy Was this assortment different from the last one? By that I mean (in the last one) I got twenty colors, but there were three bottles of each color. I got six bottles of two different fleshtones, which will probably be my most-used of out of all the colors I received, since I bought it hoping to expand my selection for models, miniatures and dioramas, as well as paints for my kids to use. How many different colors did you get?
@phloopy@roninido i got 9 bottles between light flesh, fleshtone and skintone. I’ll probably get bored before I run out of other colors so I can see what comes out from mixing them with the rest. Speaking of which, the rest of the mix has some form of primary color so I’m happy with it overall. Black is the only color I can think of not present. And again, there’s enough I can probably experiment to mix something close.
From the descriptions that I’m seeing in earlier comments, I get the distinct impression that this assortment is what happens when the colors that have been selling poorly get discontinued and handed to Meh for disposal. I could be wrong about that, it also might be that all of the boxes of paints just get arranged in a random row along the compilation tables, and the box fillers just take x pieces from each item. But that still doesn’t explain some of the reports. Either way, hard pass.
Appreciate the comments of people that ordered before. I was okay with the odd colors that didn’t sell, but I wanted the whole variety (save maybe duplicates of whites and primaries). Oh well. Thought I had a good Christmas gift opportunity.
I would love to get a box with a lot of good base coats for minis, plus more of the glow in the dark options. Wish we could choose or indicate preference.
My wife teaches art classes to middle school students and finds these paints to be mediocre. The $0.50-1.00 paints at Walmart are a step above these in quality. Throw in the “fine for student acrylic” brushes, plus the decent canvas panels, and you have a decent deal for $40.
i just opened mine. i am pleased so far. of the 60 paints. 40 were different. of that 40, 6 were very similar fleshy tones. some definite fun colors in here. i’d say a healthy bias for folkart brand.
i am pleased. i don’t usually paint on canvas boards, i’m considering how i will use them. the brushes seem nice.
I got 15 flesh tones and 12 grey/silvers, but the mix on the rest is pretty good. Brushes seem decent.

Hunter Biden has given his approval of this offering!!
@IndifferentDude Umm… there are no straws
@hchavers @IndifferentDude I thought he smoke his stuff.
Huffing paint is more of a trump thing. Why do you think he’s so orange and still lying about 3 million votes?
KILLING ME!!! I am remodeling.
/8ball Do I need this?
My reply is no
Oh thank Buddha!
@sillyheathen
…
/8ball should I get this even though I don’t need it?
My sources say no
@Lynnerizer @sillyheathen It’s an awfully good deal…And the paints are good for a long time. I say screw the Magic 8 Ball.
I kinda want this but I also enjoy going to the craft store to buy a couple bottles of paint and maybe a new brush. I don’t get out much.
Same deal as July 30th, for the same price, but with 2 less Canvas Panel Boards (10 vs 12).

@Num1Zero
Oh wow, you’re funny! I was almost going to ask to see your artwork!
@Lynnerizer ohhh
I’ll have to see if I have enough good boy points for this one
Painted my Halloween decorations with this paint on plywood. (Got it from the department store before this deal).
@braveit1 this is awesome
POPSOCKETS! ROAD ROCKETS! SONNY CROCKETT! AWESOME!
@braveit1 Love it!
@braveit1 looks fab!
I would get this for my friend’s artistic kid. Do you think it’s as much fun as a paint can?
Given my propensity for coloring outside the lines (or canvas) I’m thinking maybe I should avoid buying this….
No Meh Button? Seriously…

Christmas gift for my teenage girl
@jnicholson0619 Christmas gift for myself!
this is a weird way to arrange and display colors, i can’t tell if colors i want to see are there
@username I think you get a random assortment.
@Kyeh probably all brown then.
Artful!
Is this what Hunter uses? I can really use a half mil.
@IAMIS they’ll get you so high you’ll be lying about winning an election despite losing by a landslide lol
Are these all the colors that nobody wanted from the store? I’m tempted but don’t want to end up only being able to paint avant-garde monstrosities.

I paint the obstacles on our miniature golf course. Now I’ll have all the paint I need.
