7 Goats for Madame Rachel
4Madame Rachel is a client with the microfinance institution Hekima and the president of the “banc villageois” Amani. At 48-years-old, she is a widow and the mother of 8 children who all go to school. She received her financing from her husband when he was alive 25 years ago and came to Hekima afterwards.
With this loan, she is going to buy 7 goats to reinforce her initial capital. She plans on joining a group of butchers and educating her children in the days to come. Long live Hekima and their partners for their benevolence in financially supporting those who are non-eligible in the economic sector.

Kiva’s an interesting take on charity: banking to lose money.
I had Kiva credit to use - done! Wait? Did I just send 7 GoaTs to a butcher!? Can I choose the 7 GoaTs?
This loan is also matched X2.
@mfladd Pretty good deal, right?
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
