@mdellefson@tardis@werehatrack My 2020 and 2023 Honda CR-V’s both featured a lot of plastic panels, to say nothing of my previous favorite vehicles [Honda Elements] which were also largely plastic…
@mdellefson@PhysAssist@tardis@werehatrack The most popular vehicle in the USA, the F Series truck, is all aluminum (on the F150). My 2007 Expedition is aluminum on the hood and liftgate.
Funny story, I had a supervisor tell me to order magnetic material in 2015 for the new F150s were going to get as company trucks so we didn’t have to put stickers on them. We ended up putting stickers on them.
So magnet friendly vehicle material notwithstanding, does anyone have these who can comment on use/ functionality? Because an old School flare doesn’t stick to your car either so that’s not really a deal breaker in my book.
@Vee19 the only deal breaker is that these do not have a flashlight function . So 1. You will have to use a second device for light to place the flare…for example…a flashlight… and 2. You won’t be using the flare for any other purpose… Say a flashlight… So you probably won’t ever have to use the flare for anything.

Meh-rathon. All the stuff you didn’t buy before, still here!
Really…because roads now and cars again support these little gems
@mdellefson Unless the car’s exterior panels are all plastic and aluminum, in which case only gravity remains your friend.
@mdellefson @werehatrack Saturn went out of business…
@mdellefson @werehatrack Or you can use the hooks on the back of them…

@mdellefson @PhysAssist @werehatrack that’s unfortunate. I hope they gave you a severe discount on them
@mdellefson @PhysAssist @tardis BMW and Mercedes do a lot of that as well.

@fuzzmanmatt @mdellefson @PhysAssist @werehatrack Makes me glad I drive mid-range German…
@mdellefson @tardis @werehatrack Naw, but in upstate NY, less steel just means less rust.
They finally edited out the Non Existent flashlight feature in the Specifications… Guess they finally grabbed one tried it out for themselves !!!
