@RiotDemon True, although I don’t like those. I like the polka dot ones and need socks. Had those been women’s I would have bought. I also checked out their site and then saw they are mostly a men’s site anyway so that likely explains it.
@Kidsandliz I prefer the men’s version myself- I like 'em pulled onto the calf. Last time, I accidentally got the women’s version, and they’re too short for me (gave them to Mrs News). But they are very nice socks, and cool patterns. Unfortunately, here in Florida, I won’t be wearing socks again until November…
@MrNews I don’t like how the feet are too big in men’s socks. I prefer not to have part of the heel up above my heel, often over the top of the back of the shoe. Or in not that then bunched up in the toe part.
@Kidsandliz You’re right- the men’s version is a little long in the foot. I’m about an 8.5 mens shoe, and these work better for about a 9.5-11. The women’s, by contrast, are just a tad tight for me. As Goldmember said to me, in his freaky Dutch accent: “Well, there’s no pleasing you!”
I had been ordering these socks each round. But I’ve been finding that they just keep going thinner and thinner. They’re still very pretty, but I’d been enjoying them in sneakers and running around, but lately they’ve been like dress socks.
@neveraging Lots of clothing is getting thinner and thinner. Pretty soon there will be nothing there. I’m guessing it is the clothing version of the 1/2 gallon of ice cream that is no longer a 1/2 gallon so that it wouldn’t look like a price increase.
@jc1357 I have to say that these are the best, most comfortble crew/dress-type socks I have ever owned. And I LOVE the funky prints. I can’t wait for them to come up again. And I hope maybe some of their no-show socks may come up too!
