@mossygreen On the company website, they have a 3rd variety for immunity. It too has all the active ingredients way down near the bottom of the list, but the 2nd to last ingredient is Vitamin D3 which also appears in the Nutrition Facts box as being 50mcg/2000 IU/250% RDA. That’s the same amount as in one Costco Vitamin D3 Softgel - Remember the serving size is one bag for these.
Since the other ingredients don’t have US RDA guidelines they don’t appear in the Nutrition Facts box, though it would have been nice for them to include the amount of each supplement on the label anyway. They also weaseled out of answering their own FAQ about whether the gummies are organic, saying that the active ingredients aren’t available as organic, but dodging the question with regard to the main ingredients (corn fiber, pectin, monkfruit, etc.)
Finally there’s a concern of the manufacturing process, if all these ingredients were subjected to high heat to form into gummies, they may have lost some or all of their potency. Without any regulatory oversight, independent lab testing, or even a single user review of their products, I’d approach with caution.
That said, $0.50 per bag of gummy bears isn’t unreasonable. Though the prices on their website are insane!
@ciabelle@mossygreen 50 cents per bag of gummy bears isn’t bad but re-read the nutrition facts, the majority of the ingredients are fiber. These are probably going to make your stomach hurt and cause extreme gas. Not worth it IMO.
@ciabelle All good info, thanks. However, L-theanine, found in tea leaves, is not affected/degraded by being made into tea, so it should maintain efficacy during the gummie-making process.
@ciabelle@mossygreen You make some good points. Especially heat in processing. The positive neurological effects of lions mane are completely obviated by heat. I think a lot of these companies put exotic ingredients in their product to look cool but have no thoughts relating to efficacy.
The pictures and descriptions mention either FRUITY or SOUR, but I’m not seeing the option to choose which one I want. Are they all fruity? No sour? Please let me know, while I can still
Make a decision whether to buy these or not. Thank you!
You pause for East Coast, throw we on the West Coast under the Meh bus. By the time our alarm clocks go off your hot ticket items are sold out. Show us some love, too!
@Seeh2o@Trinityscrew no. If it’s midnight on the east coast it’s 9PM on the west coast. So unless you go to bed before 9pm you should see it before you are asleep.
I just bought these (holding onto my VMP for five years has paid off again!) and saw the quip about margaritas in the description. It makes me think we need Drinking Terrible With Meh to come back.
@remo28 Did you order the Focus or Sleep bears, or 24 of each? I ordered 48 packs of Focus and I wonder if those were more available.
I was going to ask if the VMP priority shipping is still in place, but you and I are Siblings In Mediocrity, so if it is then I’d expect yours to have also shipped.
@Angelbane yep. Curious what time people ordered. My order was 1:40am est. Only 40 minutes into the start of the sale. I was really hoping the sleep would be helpful. Melatonin just isn’t working well unless I then get 8 or more hours of sleep and that doesn’t happen on week nights.
Well I just ate some of the Sleep gummy bears and I’m struggling to keep my eyes open.
Don’t know if it’s placebo effect, or if it’s because my whole family has been sick all week and it’s finally hitting me. But I’ll take it! Okie dokie. Going to sleep now.

Candy Can - I really thought it said candy corn.
There’s your April Fools.
For a second I thought the title read “Candy Corn” and I almost had PTSD.
@haydesigner Hahahahaha!!
So indica and sative gummies?
@tyler524 Tempted to buy just to see if they work similarly. Nah, I’ll get the real thing at a dispensary.
I was hoping it would be Lion’s Mane mushroom related woohoo
I’m a fan of most things gummi. In for a 1/2 n 1/2.
Hmmm, we’ll see.
I’ve certainly spent $25 on worse gambles.

So, how much of the active ingredients is in these? Enough to… list? Apparently not.
@mossygreen
I thought the same thing but that’s why there on meh

Dang - could really use those sleep ones now. Have to get my energy up before all those stroopwafels get here…
Check for possible drug interactions with prescriptions.
What a coincidence… Sleep and Focus is what we all desperately needed during the Mehrathon
Why the heck not. Went for the 1/2 and 1/2 variety.
/giphy noisy-informally-fairy
I bet these make really shitty margaritas.
@RogerWilco Well, the description pretty much says that already.

@jmrobinett The description says Sleep is fruity and Focus is sour.
@Kristine516 thanks, this is the part I was looking at.
Your choice of:
48x Candy Can Fruity Bears (Focus)
48x Candy Can Fruity Bears (Sleep)
24x Candy Can Fruity Bears (Focus) and 24x Candy Can Fruity Bears (Sleep)
Guess I’ll take my chances on all fruity. It’s all good!
Who can take a leg kick
With a favorite shoe
Cover it with chocolate
and a gold anklet or two?
The Candy Can Can!
Not the kind of gummies I like
@Star2236 Exactly! Had there been a big ol’ CBD in the ingredient list, Good-Night now…
@bee1doll @Star2236 or THC…
Tempting to get 48 sleeps and see how many I can eat before it actually makes me sleep.
/buy --quantity 1 --set “48-Pack: Focus+Sleep”
@PHRoG It worked! Your order number is: fat-horrible-artichoke

At least the Sleep ones don’t contain 50mg of melatonin…
You pause for East Coast, throw we on the West Coast under the Meh bus. By the time our alarm clocks go off your hot ticket items are sold out. Show us some love, too!
@Seeh2o Ummm… On the west coast it’s only 9:00 PM when they post the new products, so I’d say you’ve really got nothing to complain about.
@Trinityscrew Deals start early every day EST, which translates to 5am PST
@Seeh2o @Trinityscrew no. If it’s midnight on the east coast it’s 9PM on the west coast. So unless you go to bed before 9pm you should see it before you are asleep.
Thank god it has a 90 day warranty. Was scared for a second there.
By the time you paused this you were sold out of everything but sour “Focus”. Boo, Meh. Boo.
Anybody know where these are manufactured? Is it from USA?
@kvs2000 The packaging states Product of Canada.
These got monk fruit and stevia as it’s sweeteners. No thank you!
@mrtomahawk what would you prefer?

MEH-dication?
Like most people, I like my gummy bears in the binge eating format. So uh, these are a hard pass.
I just bought these (holding onto my VMP for five years has paid off again!) and saw the quip about margaritas in the description. It makes me think we need Drinking Terrible With Meh to come back.
/giphy slippery-peculiar-otter
@lljk That is a peculiar otter
Just got these in. I bought the sour bears, so I’ll report back if I feel anything more than what my usual morning coffee provides.
These really are sour! But I do think I felt more stimulated in the hours after I ate a pack. If you bought these, I hope you like sour candy too.
Got 'em. Tried 'em. Not bad as a snack, but I can’t say if they provide anything beyond gut-spackle service.
Hmm mine haven’t even shipped yet and other people already got them.
@lljk I got the 1/2 and 1/2 set. It says the order is still processing. My IRK is also still processing while others have already got them.
@remo28 Mine were cancelled … really bummed
@Angelbane yep. Curious what time people ordered. My order was 1:40am est. Only 40 minutes into the start of the sale. I was really hoping the sleep would be helpful. Melatonin just isn’t working well unless I then get 8 or more hours of sleep and that doesn’t happen on week nights.
@remo28 1:08am ET
Well I just ate some of the Sleep gummy bears and I’m struggling to keep my eyes open.

Ughhhh, order cancelled
/giphy cancelled
@PHRoG Same… Hoping an explanation is forthcoming.
@PHRoG same. I need sleep and focus.
Got them and they’re hard and difficult to eat. Boo.
