Well Jesus Fucking Christ, is members only going to be just a bunch of ostensibly healthy (? and fuck that) powders and shit and a dubiously for our own good overpriced (in the likely desired color) bag?
@cinoclav This deal is $10 lower than last time and we’re losing money on them – it’s a name-brand protein powder at roughly 4 containers for the price of 1 with 8 months of shelf life left. Is that terrible?
Thanks, but I believe I already have some super-green chocolate something or another in the back of my refrigerator.
I’m hesitant to reach past that black stuff that occasionally seems to move.
@dbmittens@troy …all things relative of course, coconut oil is high in saturated fat but most of that is medium chain triglycerides (easier to digest & absorb) so unless your doctor says to avoid triglycerides (perhaps you’re too high already) they really are not harmful in that they metabolize into food for your brain.
@dbmittens@phendrick@troy I wish it were that easy! I’d be the healthiest SOB on the Earth! Maybe if you’d mix this stuff into a little Greek yogurt, and cool it off (not frozen) it’d be kind of like eating ice cream.
The reviews on the Anova are terrible; I won’t risk using my “free” 10 or 5 dollars towards it. I have had the one without greens, which the jar was on clearance for more than this price. Meh!
@troy
Sorry let me rephrase that, the people that talk on this form on an everyday basis are not the ones buying that stuff. Were the ones wanting mehs deals of yesteryear.

Why even bother with members only deals anymore? They’re terrible. They’re not offering anything special.
@cinoclav Arguably they’re quite special, but not in any kind of way we’d like.

@cinoclav to prove they’re thinking of us.

OK, I’m going for it. But why the *u** did they add coconut oil powder? It’s all healthy until then.
@dbmittens first I’ve heard that coconut oil is unhealthy
@dbmittens @troy and why didn’t they specify “decomposed rodent bits?” Or is that the other stuff in my kitchen?
Nevermind,

@dbmittens @tohar1 @troy my brain needs food, so I eat a lot of ice cream for those triglycerides.
