@sammydog01 That’s why you get 4. When the first starts leaking all over inside your workout bag then pitch it and move on to the next. Basically four gimmicky meh bottles last about as long as one quality bottle. Oh, the stains and mold in your bag are a free bonus.
@JT954 Isn’t the problem with all these types of shakers how hard it is to clean the blades? Seems like more trouble than it’s worth to have a few lumps. Doumls really bother people that much?
@uscpsycho It’s a problem if the bottle sits and the remains harden. If you fill it with water and let it run for about 10 seconds, it rinses easy. If the contents are stuck to the bottle, get a spongy bottle brush and it cleans up. I only need a napkin to wipe it clean.
I also leave the cap off so it can air out and doesn’t smell like spoiled milk (this can be eliminated by running water and dish soap).
Dang they still make these? I thought that company moved on to the metal ball kind.
Anyway FWIW, I used to use one of these many years ago and it lasted for a few years without leaking before I think I just moved on to a slimmer bottle. So that’s a good review for that… Assuming these are the same.
I also used to pack that little “snack” section with protein powder mix and fill the upper with water… I workout after work, so before workout I’d dump the powder into the water and shake. Then leave it in locker during workout, shake it again after workout (time is needed for water to get into the powder) and drink… Worked quite well, no powder lumps and I didn’t have to make my protein drink in the morning and drink it after sitting, or bring a Tupperware with powder in it.
The major downside I stopped using it for is it’s big so doesn’t fit in cup holders well. And I stopped drinking protein shakes as often too…
I think i’m feeling a bit empty! Lately I want to buy one of everything, telling myself that I can give it away for a x-mas gift or give it to our “buy nothing group” on Facebook. What the heck is going on with me, i’m losing my mind!! Who on earth would take their “no account self”, buy random items to just give away to other frugal community members? A FOOL I say, a damn FOOL!!
Btw, with everything that’s been happening, we (my entire family) already decided that we won’t be “DOING” x-mas this year! So I already know I DON’T have to shop for anyone!
For anyone who has this or maybe something similar:
Do the bottom snack cups just snap on or screw on a little? How well do they stay on and could a toddler easily remove them?
Multiple Amazon reviews say that the lid is hard to clean because it has a groove or something that gets gunked up. Just FYI if you hate shakers that require more than a swish of water to clean.
I have a couple of this brand. My biggest gripe: it looks like the lid might be compatible with Blender bottles. It’s not.
Likes: cheap and effective. No leaks as of yet.
Dislikes: (all minor) Feels cheap. Ex: the cap doesn’t snap with the authority of Blender lids, making me constantly double-check before I shake. Also, in my experience, there’s always a little left in the bottle that I drip everywhere when I take it apart to clean.
If you need 4 shaker bottles, go for it. I don’t regret them other than I have two different shaker-bottle-ecosystems now.

Are you guys rebooting every night now?
OH MY GOD THEY COMPLETELY DISINTEGRATED GLEN, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE TOP 3/4 OF HIS EYEBALLS!!!
Have you guys tested these? Are they really leak proof? Because I kind of want a set.

@sammydog01 I have a couple and haven’t had a leak.
@Superllama7 Thanks!
This is as close as it can get to something I would buy off here without me actually buying it.
Well if it’s really leak and spill proof…
@Fe2_O3
The jack-of-all-containers is a master of none. Truly a Meh product.
Seems like a good product with the storage cups and strainer which may or may not eliminate clumps.
I say may or may not since every manual shaker cup I’ve own resulted in some lumps so this one probably will too.
As a result, I bought this and never had that problem ever again:
(My model uses AA batteries).

This is what’s inside when you unzip those Bluetooth speakers Meh sells every other day.

@bobthenormal That’s exactly what I hope to use these for! Glad to hear they served that purpose well.
Guess this will be a good way to transport and mix my coffee flavored protein powder I bought here the other day.

Spending time in nature is not totally safe! Look what happened to me last weekend!
@Seeds “You should see the other guy”
Well if these are so cool how come they’re here?
For anyone who has this or maybe something similar:

@ArmchairGamer They screw on, about 1/2 turn, and can be tightened pretty well. I would say not removable by a toddler,

another day, another ‘deal,’ and another reason not to renew VMP.
Love them. Thanks. Are great!
