I’m looking for other Mehtizens experiences with these smart plugs. I was able to somehow get one of them to work and I’m able to schedule an outlet to turn on and off on schedule. I’m having no luck with the other three. The indicators don’t work on one of them, but the buttons still turn the outlets on and off and I’m guessing that if the top button (which is also the reset button) is pressed, it will reset and go into pairing mode. Like the other two, whose indicators do work, the app can’t find them during its scan for new devices or if I choose “Plug (BLE+Wi-Fi)” or “Socket (Wi-Fi)”. There is no choice in the app for the double outlet device, i.e., the ones Meh is selling. Could it really be that three out of four of these are bad?
I suppose I could reset the one that works and controls my espresso machine, but I’m balancing that against the fact that it works ok now.
The bottom line is that something is crap here: the plugs, the app, or the instructions.
Update: I switched from the HBN Smart app to the Smart Life app and I discovered that it will add devices if I reboot the router each time I want to add a device. Yep. Something here is crap and it’s not the router.

Yuckkk!
If anyone can find a way to make these actually sync to Google Home without a cascading nightmare of errors, I’d love to hear it
