How is this not an order or hoarder? Also, who is the target market for this? The mob? To wrap people up with?
Why isn’t this 24 signed photos of Murr from the Impractical Jokers, I’m hearing a lot of groundswell for this. Or a photo of Alfonso Ribeiro? #IncludeAlfonso
These seem just the right size to individually wrap all of those car batteries I have in that industrial refrigerator. You know, for extra warmth and freshness…
@JT954 I take it you are not in the Panhandle. I keep 2 of these in my own storm kit, and I’m going to send these 4 to the folks in the Panhandle, along with some other supplies. Even in my part of Florida, we love having these on the beach on chilly Nov/Dec/Jan nights…
@JT954 I imagine these are like the ones they sell at Acadamy sports for $4 dollars each…they look about the same. If so, they’re actually very thin, and despite being fleece are not overly warm. I carry a couple in my car for emergencies. Chances are will never need them but you never know.
I hope these ship soon, and I wish I had a spare $60 for the large box. (I can hardly afford the $14.) I am planning on putting these on one of the trucks going up to the panhandle where it’s about to get very cool at night, and they will be in tents or roofless houses. (Yes, I’m also sending food, cleaning supplies, etc. etc. up with our folks who are collecting.) You can fold them up and sit on them, as well as use them to keep warm…and the animals love them for bedding too!
I actually ordered 48 of these - I work for an organization that provides donated gifts to lonely and isolated seniors who are at risk of abuse or neglect. Our target this year is to provide gifts to 400 seniors.
If you’re wondering what to do with these, I recommend finding an organization in your community doing something similar (often they’ll be found as the “Area Agency on Aging”), and donate! These are perfect!
@deathbynoodlez@reclaimercube Yeah Meh, sell pop sockets. But make sure you bundle them with something useless and of equally questionable taste, like a car bra for a 1999 Plymouth Neon.
This isn’t a very warm deal. I’m not feeling very blanketed by this deal.
Look meh it’s been too many days without a response from the staff. I am determined and now my next mission is a Christmas list, sponsored by meh and presented by everyone who posts on my comment. Without further ado, I present the meh Christmas shopping list:
IRK Plushies, Mehgic 8 Ball (all responses some form of meh.), Squatty Potty (because we don’t have the fukubukuro anymore and our crap needs to go somewhere), AAA batteries, poop meh emoji pillows, and candy corn because it’s near Halloween duh.
Only 2.50 each at Walmart - same size… same price if my math skills are still sharp (if you buy the big bundle). I know it only says 5 left, but just throwing it out there that these are same price… no meh bargain
As a 74" tall person, a 60" blanket is incredibly frustrating. Let’s play “Which foot of me should I let freeze?”! And coordinating multiple blankets feels like work
@coblebaby@dwileyjr344@tjamaco It’s true. I wanted a spider web pattern one, but wife chose a pineapple one for some reason… It’ll just cost you gas money to drive there.
AHH! My Girl Scout troop is making a bunch of those tie off blankets this month for cancer patients going through chemo. Sharing it in our community to see if we can get folks to donate them to us!
I do Sunday school curricula, and our children are doing a service project to collect warm things for the homeless. We’re going to make tie-off scarves out of fleece, and I was worried about getting a good price for fleece, and damn is this a great price for fleece. Any leftover blankets can be donated as-is.
I bought 24 for the local homeless shelter because warmth is warmth. I’m going to crochet around the edges to make them a little more special with borders in matching colors.
I love being able to give something like this every year, because when I was unhoused, my blanket was just a cheap throw, but it was mine and it was comforting.
@RiotDemon It’s bright red. Not one of the colors that meh listed, but I’m not gonna complain and ask for a full refund just because it doesn’t light up.

@vinuash It is an order/horder. That’s in the
write-up.
@Pamela that’s what I get for not reading it yesterday. OOPS.
These seem just the right size to individually wrap all of those car batteries I have in that industrial refrigerator. You know, for extra warmth and freshness…
This deal is on fleec.
My legs are cold right now. Good timing. In for 4.
@DaveInSoCal You have… four… legs?
@DaveInSoCal @shahnm you don’t? inferior non centaur being
That’s a lot of blankets! I’m very tempted to but a set of 24 to donate to a local charity.
@elangomatt I thought the same thing. Fleece blankets can go a long way in a poor climate.
@elangomatt I just did - I encourage others to do the same.
@elangomatt I had the same idea. Donating 48 to a local homeless and low-income assistance non-profit.
@elangomatt Word to that!
Too late. I bought a catblanketwoot already.

Purrrfect Day Blanket
Price: $30.00 - $39.00
Condition: Probably New
@narfcake that’s too cute
@reclaimercube Yep. @jasneko does great work.
These are squishy, but its not a plush Irk…
Meh. I picked up a bunch of Canon blankets for $3 a pop last Christmas and got to pick the designs I liked.
I live in Florida so pass.
Please sell something cool next time. :cranks up fans:

@JT954 Are you land-locked? These are perfect “use a few times and throw away” beach /pic-a-nic blankets.
Not to mention for swaddling during our brutal week of winter.
<waves from Dunedin>

@grobbins In case anyone is interested in finding their local organization, go to www.n4a.org, and use your ZIP to find your local aging agency.
I could get 24 of these and and cry my tears of sorrow from not having a MEH face pop socket.
@deathbynoodlez PLEASE SELL HIM THE SOCKETS MEH
@deathbynoodlez Just use the blanket to prop the phone up. Boom, multipurpose blanket!
@deathbynoodlez @reclaimercube Yeah Meh, sell pop sockets. But make sure you bundle them with something useless and of equally questionable taste, like a car bra for a 1999 Plymouth Neon.
@Oneroundrobb @reclaimercube I’d still buy 10 of them and probably buy the car it matches so i dont waste the car bras

@mcemanuel One of the selling points for those tie dye fleeces is “Neutral color that matches most décor”. Heh.
@mcemanuel my apt is 100% tie dye… dunno whatchu talking about
What is this? No black sheep fleece? Meh
Challenge accepted: Fleecestopher Robin, Calista Fleecehart, Fleecen Nightingale, More Fleece Jones-Drew, Fleece Navidad,
I donate blankets like this to my local animal shelter. I also foster kittens, and these are perfect for that.
Better than fleas blankets. Those things are tiny.
meh wants to fleece their customers??

@dtertman that’s why you get 4 (or 24… your choice) and you layer them.
@Prebuiltcarpet feels like work

$1.99 at Menards… on a regular basis.
@kbaum17 Hey say what now?
Seriously?
Huh.
@rprussell Yes
@kbaum17 was gonna say that, but need to leave the house for that one
/giphy sassy-knightly-trapper

Meh, seems expensive…
This seems like an excellent prank gift to send to my sister’s dorm room.
@Techrocket9 If they are actually soft rather than stiff and scratchy (no idea which they are) she’d be popular when she gave some away.
These are basically paper towels disguised as blankets, except they don’t absorb as well.
A fleece navidad
How often does someone set up a tent in their bank yard?
Maybe the write up was trying for back yard?
Winter is coming.
No, seriously - buy a bunch of these and donate them to a shelter.
Does the green one look yellow, or is this another one of these gold-blue-black-white dress illusions?
@wickhameh Yes.
Perfect donation for my local animal shelter!
100% Polyester? What a shocker
Wouldn’t that be a fairly stinky and toxic bonfire?
Hey someone at meh - are these soft and drape well or are they somewhat stiff and not so soft?
Just ordered 24 blankets It gets pretty cold here
Walmart has them for $2.50 each. Choice of patterns.
@tjamaco link?
@dwileyjr344 @tjamaco I’m hearing from friends that they’re available in the stores in the mid-aisle displays and have patterns. (When I looked online they all say sold out, though it could give you an idea of what they offer, here’s an example https://www.walmart.com/ip/Mainstays-Tie-Dye-Fleece-Throw/233942728.)
@coblebaby @dwileyjr344 @tjamaco It’s true. I wanted a spider web pattern one, but wife chose a pineapple one for some reason… It’ll just cost you gas money to drive there.

@coblebaby whisper me your address please
@coblebaby sounds like this could be a great project What’s a tie off blanket?
@candiedisilvio1 it looks like this! People make them for baby blankets too https://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-Make-a-Tied-Fleece-Blanket/
100% polyester - meaning this is all melty and static-ey wonder of artificial science. And no wool was ever incorporated into the plastic fabric.
Expect something else and you’ll get ‘fleeced’!
/giphy Do-I-want-polyester-I-said-no-no-no

@TheMonkeyKing What were you expecting- llama fur?
@sammydog01 Nope. Wool… because it really whips the Llama’s ass.
/giphy lemme-whip-out-a-90s-meme

@sammydog01 I miss Winamp
These aren’t great blankets but I like to use them as bedding for my dog’s crate and he seems to enjoy them.
Make 6 - multi-color 100 x 60 double thickness blankets for gifts.

@whiskeyish This made me smile!
As a member are they still available?
@laudvette You’ll have to wait until they are offered again – if they are.
I ordered a 4 pack. And I got a purple one! Yaaaay!!
(Lady gets the two ugly green ones.)
@Barney but what is the fourth color??
@RiotDemon It’s bright red. Not one of the colors that meh listed, but I’m not gonna complain and ask for a full refund just because it doesn’t light up.
@Barney probably better than another one of those weird “green” ones.
@Barney @RiotDemon You might if it was an LED blanket.
@RiotDemon @sammydog01 I’m still stinging over those damn rock hard bamboo pillows. They didn’t light up either.
@Barney @sammydog01 now that would be a party pillow!!
@RiotDemon @sammydog01 That would indeed.
@Barney @RiotDemon I want one of those.

/image LED pillow
@RiotDemon @sammydog01 Nooo. I have enough nightmares as it is.
@Barney @sammydog01 so cute!
@Barney I got two green, one gray, and one really lovely pumpkin orange, just in time for fall.
@OldCatLady But you didn’t get a purple.
@Barney They’re on MorningSave. I could try again.
@OldCatLady But they charge more at MorningSave…
@Barney $14.60 is more than $14., it’s true. Fifteen cents per blankie more. It’s not worth the chance of getting more fuzzy Slimers.
These things shed more than a damn Huskey. All I got were ugly ass colors too, barf orange and booger green.
Best holiday give away decision I ever made in my life!! HELPED MANY!! WISH MEH had ot every year! Or something comparable!!
