//Opinions about these pillows are sharply divided. The last two times we've sold them, we've heard back that they're fluffy and wonderful and make for the best night's sleep ever - and that they're horrible to sleep on and pretty much suck. ... Almost everyone who waited 48 hours is happy with these. Almost everyone who reviewed them 12 hours later was disappointed.//
In the winter I used to use my summer clothes stuffed into a duffel bag as a pillow, and in the summer my winter clothes. Now I have two real pillows with pillow cases and everything, I feel like such a dandy.
I bought these pillow to insure my bed is properly fitted with jumbo down alternative pillows. I know your understanding what I'm throwing at you so honestly these pillows look great so I hope they're ok. If there only good then I won't be down with that. Look, I have been kidnapped and honestly my capture is nice and let me get these. I will leave note buried in the basement floor on how these performed. HELP ME
@bugger hmmm...i bought some hay and a rug to insure my bed. it baled me out the last time bedroom gymnastics rendered the frame useful only for fuel in the pellet stove.
@iPatrick after soaking one in kerosene, setting fire to it and making a pyre of acrid, greasy smoke before sleeping off the effects of a decent bottle of tequila, I took the other one and divided it into 2 pillows. It worked! We've two quite comfortable, medium density pillows now. And a restraining order from the neighbors downwind.
@therealjrn Costco has these alt down or memory foam pillows w gel inserts so you sleep cool in summer. Friends love them. Trying to convince self I must try.
Sorry Meh.com I have to disagree. I bought these pillows and yes I let them have their 48 hours and they still suck. the middle where I lay my head is flat and the stuffing has moved to either side. I do not recommend anyone buying these.
I am still unpacking into my new place and opened the pillow package after receiving THE FIX idea from Mr @Moose. After following directions, perfectly plumpy pillows did not fix the puffy pillows I anticipated for pleasant ponderings. Sniff - sigh not all due to allergens from the outside world.
I'm surprised at all the less than good reviews. I bought these and think they are the best pillows I've ever used. Great pillow to sleep on. Fold one in half and it is good for comfortably reading in bed. At this price no other pillow compares.
I guess I'm destined to be in the minority which means I'm usually right.
@PFFlyer Yeah...keep telling yourself that...you're usually right. But if you are ever driving down the highway and all those cars are driving against you...pull over man...because it aint gonna end well.
I got some, because I can always use more pillows and if they don't feel right to me, they become cheap guest pillows. I usually always use pillows to sleep on, next to and behind me, so hopefully it can full fill at least one of those requirements.
So I bought some and they arrived today. My thirteen-month-old commandeered them before we could unpack them. She's in footie pajamas, and the packaged pillows are basically small padded ice rinks. If I knew how to get video embedded, I would offer some. Imagine a really small, drunk Dorothy Hamill in fleece footed pajamas...

Pillow power-- meh now I lay meh down to sleep
If these are like anything I ordered from meh in the past (in terms of pillows) I'll pass!
@mcemanuel Agreed 100%! Last pillows sucked even after they "decompressed". I hate them, they suck.
@robson Don't let that get your goat!

What about folks who waited 4 weeks to review them? That's about when all four of ours disintegrated.
nah, I'll sleep on it before I make a decision,
They aren't bad, I have some. I Do know that a set I got did not have the side gussets as shown, but that may very well have been a WOOT purchase.
Not buying. But only because I only bought them last time they were sold. Quality pillows. very soft. I'd recommend them.
Polyester? Sorry, I'm not down with that.
@Fish_Kungfu but what about OPP are you down with that?
@bigj8705 The Urban Dictionary definition of OPP?
soaked-zippy-swordfish
I want new pillows, but only if they had some cool pillow cases. Like maybe superhero themed, or baby ducks.
In the winter I used to use my summer clothes stuffed into a duffel bag as a pillow, and in the summer my winter clothes. Now I have two real pillows with pillow cases and everything, I feel like such a dandy.
I ordered these last time, and did give them the proper unpacking ritual. They've held up quite nicely.
@jasontoon why no bamboo shout out in the writeup? missed opportunity, well there is always next time right?
(ps what happened to your flask? have they been feeding us fake jasontoon materials?)
@thismyusername @jasontoon is freelance; no flask.
@narfcake ok good, I thought they had subbed him out and we didn't notice... that would be pretty meh...
Polyester. Meh, I'll pass. Bamboo, I'll try. Buckwheat hull pillows, I'm all in.
Try this alternative pillow. Only $100.
love love love these pillows. those bamboo ones are horseshit though
I like pillows. I like sleeping. First Meh in a few months.
I bought these on a previous deal and they sucked after more than a week of "decompressing." No support and really flimsy.
I bought some pillowcases and use them as throwpillows on a daybed. They still suck as sleeping pillows but get the job done as decorations.
Pass on it. Meh.
I learned my lesson last time I bought pillows on meh... They're still as flat as they were when I opened the box -_- No thanks.
@pirategirl gotta break up the clumps...
Hey, why does the thread count matter? I'm going to use a pillowcase, and it won't make a difference!
@Kevin Haha I've been wondering the same. Who cares?
@Kevin Probably that keeps the stuff inside...uh, inside.
@Josephus
It matters w down and feathers.
Are these slightly smaller than "standard"? (I phrased that differently at first, then fixed it.)
Um, alternative to what?

Looking at my "Order" history I bought mine nearly a year ago - April 4, 2015!
They fluff up really well, a bit too well for my liking, so I use two pillow cases on mine and they suit me fine.
Just put them in the dryer today to heat them up. Not sure how they will wash and dry but they do stay fluffy and firm with two cases.
It's the final (350 Thread) Count Down (Alternative Pillows).
Not buying pillows from here again. Still trying to get those bamboo pillows to work.

I do need new pillows after that awful bamboo pillow purchase but I won't be looking for them here.
Would buy but they aren't bamboo pillows.
@therealjrn
Excellent alt down pillows from Costco. Excellent fluffy non smelly fake bamboos way cheap from a staples deal of all things?
@f00l +1 Have to wait til 4/21 Grand Opening to sleep...I can do that.
@therealjrn
Costco has these alt down or memory foam pillows w gel inserts so you sleep cool in summer. Friends love them. Trying to convince self I must try.
After going thru the bamboo experience........are you kidding!
Too soft for me. I got these last time. Prefer a firm pillow.
@rambopandabear you'll love the concrete mehmory foam pillows
I'm in.
These will be perfect for my new alternative sleeping lifestyle.
Q: A man has a goose on top of a building. What is the easiest way for him to get down?
A: Cyhpx vg bss gur tbbfr.
@chacham I needed more coffee before I tried to decipher that. Took me about 5 seconds.
@chacham
More like "putting the Tay in mistake," amirite?

@ML what is "The Fix"? Just got mine and they look ok... I was surprised they didn't ship compressed.

My first purchase from meh, and it wasn't a speaker!

....
:(
This sold out? Pillows sold out??? What website is this???
@thekenya Yes! Yes!!! Meh.com!!!
I got some, because I can always use more pillows and if they don't feel right to me, they become cheap guest pillows. I usually always use pillows to sleep on, next to and behind me, so hopefully it can full fill at least one of those requirements.
I was going to buy these but too many people said they sucked
So I bought some and they arrived today. My thirteen-month-old commandeered them before we could unpack them. She's in footie pajamas, and the packaged pillows are basically small padded ice rinks. @Jasongb - Can you upload them to imgur.com? Want to see, but I don't know if that works for videos.
@KDemo Looks like imgur won't work - maybe this will?

@Jasongb That's just WAY too adorable! lol
@Jasongb - Just like that, pillow mountain is conquered! Love this precious moment, thanks for finding a way to share.
