@haydesigner Let's be honest here. The Amazon link is for NEW pillows. There is an option on the page to buy used pillows for $1 MORE than the new offering (some people have huge gonads).
Obviously down pillows are better/nicer/preferable. If that weren't the case they'd be referred to as "optima-loft polyester fiber alternative pillows".
@sanvara2 It concerns me when items sold online are not branded. I would imagine that lots of manufacturers have products with similar specifications. Meh lists a "model number" but I didn't see it mentioned on the Amazon page that was linked to. I buy brand name pillows at brick and mortar discount retailers where I can squeeze the suckers before swiping the CC.
@tarkshark Where in the Meh description does it say that these are BlueRidge? If you search the product number (K224421) you hit on Zulily where they are described as "Hotel Grand Collection". My guess is that these are imported as generics from China or India and whomever markets them is free to slap a name/brand on them. This raises concerns regarding permutations of the quality of materials and workmanship. I'm not really sure what these are or what they compare to. I doubt that you can be, either. -smiling in your general direction-
@eyewerks sears, bhg, houzz, way fair, Amazon and more all list that model number pillow as Blue Ridge. I don't get a match on Zulilly. I tried searching "Zulilly k224421" and didn't even get a match. Are you using Bing or something? ;)
@eyewerks that being said, I just found them on their website, and if they actually are "Blue Ridge", it still says 'made in China' ....not shocking, I realize
@lutopia Oh, com'on. The pillows at Hilton hotels generally have someone else's neck sweat on them. These can't possibly have the same aroma. That said, when feeling amorous (be it at home or in a hotel) I often put a pillow under my lady's hips and .....I think you get the drift. You may want to think about taking a pillow from home when next you travel. :)
Four pillows? But I only have the one bed? Why is it necessary to put four pillows on one bed for one person? I've never understood this wacky pillow to mattress ratio. Not even the most complex trigonometric algorithm can provide an answer. Anyone?
@TheTexasTwister I only have one bed, but use four pillows. Rotate them through the night so the one your head is on is always cool, and stack them to get the correct head/neck adjustment.
@eyewerks You would be fine. When I reread meh's description it did say these pillows are polyester. The comments from when they were sold by meh.com before convinced me to buy a set.
@eyewerks Oh, you misunderstood me. I researched the pillows and saw they were polyester. This is before I ordered them. After I made my original posting I realized my posting was unnecessary since meh.com did state in its ad copy that these were polyester stuffed pillows. No misunderstanding and I am looking forward to them.
I got these last time and shared them with my family. We all liked them, although it is more fluffy than my down pillow. I like it for a TV watching sofa pillow.
I'm glad these came back around! I had to buy a new set since we had to toss the older ones out. They didn't go flat or anything, but long story short, one dog got a staph infection with oozing sores. (she sleeps in our bed) Once we got the test results, the pillows got tossed.
@shyxgrl Nothing a little doxycycline couldn't take care of. Why throw out that you could donate to a group home? The inmates are probably on a constant Ab rotation, anyway. Can you say MRSA? ;)
Got a UPS notification that these will be delivered tomorrow, seems they are being dropshipped from SoCal. Not a fan of dropshipping but also not a fan of SmartPost so I'll take what I can get!
Well, I was in a meeting at work. Looked at email on my phone as I was leaving the meeting, saw they'd shipped. Walked back to my office, there they were.
so I got my pillows today.....at first I wondered WTH??? did I order throw pillows? there can not possibly be 4 full size pillows stuffed in this small undersized soft shipping bag. Yup... squishy, folded, vacuum smooshed pillows. wow! they do fluff nicely though.
Worst pillows ever! Seriously. If I put it on a hard floor and rest on it I can feel the floor... :'( I guess I'll sleep on all four at the same time. That's why you sold them in packs of four right Meh!?
So, I opened two of the pillows and gave them a couple of days to un-mush. One of them is lovely and poofy (I wrote "poufy" until I looked it up in Urban Dictionary?!). The other has a big hard lump of filling, I'm trying to break it up by pinching and pulling it apart. It helps somewhat.
We received our pillows 2 days ago. For $28 they pretty much suck. Hardly worth $7 apiece. But there is entertainment value in watching them expand when you first open them.

narcoleptic-stiff-tinker
Interesting, because my boyfriend is narcoleptic, and he has a stiff ... tinker? Something like that.
@VeeDubTDI What's in a name, right?
That Amazon link is for USED pillows. Umm, of all the things that I never want to buy used... pillows rank pretty high on that list.
@haydesigner just below underwear and juice.

Mmmmm.... Fresh pillows. Score.
Seems like a nice deal.
But "FLUFFIEST PILLOWS EVER"?
What if we like flat (broken in) pillows? I sleep ambidextrous and just about every other which way. Flat pillows accommodate nicely.
Soooo I need new pillows, are these worth the buy? Or nah?
@clux At 0.142857 (repeating of course) PPD I figured it was worth a shot. I've paid more for crappy pillows before.
Irk, stop sleeping on the job! I couldn't take it if there were no more Irk videos because you got fired.
Obviously down pillows are better/nicer/preferable. If that weren't the case they'd be referred to as "optima-loft polyester fiber alternative pillows".
Meh. Give me the goose.
@eyewerks
No reviews anywhere for these? Can't spend $28 +$5 on a blind buy.

@eyewerks Try a search for "BlueRidge 350 count Damask stripe pillows"

@eyewerks I did a search for the model number and pillow. It came up with several sets that have the same description and picture.

Irk sleeps with his eyes open. Creeeeeeeeeeeeepy!
@SSteve - I would too if there was a baby arm lurking around somewhere.
Bought these last time and they are awesome. Had to get 4 more for the other rooms. Nice-longer-story. Almost like the pillows at Hilton hotels
@lutopia Oh, com'on. The pillows at Hilton hotels generally have someone else's neck sweat on them. These can't possibly have the same aroma. @cforq you're pretty much always as cool as the other side of the pillow when you got 8 sides...
King or GTFO.
These aren't down pillows but "down alternative". Polyester.
@PaulC Where would we be without you, Paul?
@eyewerks You would be fine. When I reread meh's description it did say these pillows are polyester. The comments from when they were sold by meh.com before convinced me to buy a set.
@PaulC Sorry to hear you purchased based on mis- or unclear information last time. What's your opinion of them?
@eyewerks Oh, you misunderstood me. I researched the pillows and saw they were polyester. This is before I ordered them. After I made my original posting I realized my posting was unnecessary since meh.com did state in its ad copy that these were polyester stuffed pillows. How long do these pillows last? I have a problem of pillows going really flat on me really fast :(
Bought these the last time they were on meh (https://meh.com/forum/topics/350-thread-count-down-alternative-jumbo-pillows-set-of-4), and they're well, meh. They compress a lot, so you need quite a few of them. They're a good supplementary pillow, or a pillow for your knees but you'll probably still want a better pillow to go with them.
actual-organic-news
Ok, I needed pillows so I bit.
near-protective-jar
In for a set to go with the air mattresses I bought from meh. Should be just "meh" enough for when the in-laws visit. somber-coy-trout
I just got a new bed set on Thursday. I already bought pillows though. If these had been here a week ago I'd have been all over that. :U
The second picture should say
"Bed Not Included"
I'm glad these came back around! I had to buy a new set since we had to toss the older ones out. They didn't go flat or anything, but long story short, one dog got a staph infection with oozing sores. (she sleeps in our bed) Once we got the test results, the pillows got tossed.

Can I keep my knives under them?
@mehgrl do you toss and turn at night? Might be safer to keep your knives behind your speaker dock.
Glad I slept on this....
One person doesn't need four!
2 Max.
@xEBRONx give the other two to someone you mehbe sorta like.
@xEBRONx Smother your enemies with the other two.
No Georgia Red. . . for that alone, meh.
International Pillow Fight Day?
I had no idea.
Kudos on the date appropriate merchsndise.

Excellent notice
The wife finally let me use her spare one. Knowing we have 8 on the way was good motivation :)

Horrible to try to sleep on! Fluffy, yes.. supportive, NO!! Donated two... will keep two for the dogs. Super MEH!
Yeah, these are terrible pillows. Not happy about this purchase at all.
I'm very happy with the pillows. I sleep on two of them. My wife needed more support, so she has one of these, and a firmer pillow underneath.
These pillows suck so much I found this thread a month later just to mention how much these pillows suck.
@katzalex Thanks! It saved me from purchasing when these came back around 4 months later.
