I semember when everything made by Ecko was good, solid metal, and you could scrape a three-day-old burned grilled cheese loose from the griddle with their spatula, easy.
@dave… I don’t remember who is supposed to get tagged for stuff like this, so please forward or ignore as you see fit. I do recall someone saying a few years back that she had been reduced to tears at least once by the insanity that are sales tax rates in the USofA.
Anyways, clothing, at least items with a unit price under $110 are supposed to be free of sales tax when shipped to NY City, unless this has changed since I last cared enough to check. And becasue I wasnt charged shipping due to pre-paying that “tax” via my VMP membership fee, I should not have paid any sales tax at all on these socks. And yes, for anyone who has read this far, in NY State, shipping is taxable even if the items being shipped are not. (Yay for keeping things simple, NY!)
Finally, this is not intended as a complaint or a request for a refund, but rather as a heads up. I honestly don’t give a crap about the sales tax on these socks: feel free to keep it or use it to buy a (very small) coffee or whatever. But some other person in NYC or elsewhere might care enough to make someone cry again. And that would really suck.
