Like the way the Japanese mash rice to make the marshmallow-like mochi, several South American and Asian cultures have mashed root vegetables (tubers, like carrots or potatoes) into a clear tasteless jelly. (Odd trivia, pureed yucca root is what helps beer maintain a solid fluffy head.)
And then these guys add sugar alcohol and fruit juice to make a diet drink.
If you have low tolerance to sugar alcohol, this isn’t for you. Two or three bags and you’ll have the runs, or at least, loud farts. Otherwise, I would say these specific flavors taste… Wine-y. Apple and grape juices with sugar alcohol? Yeah that’s non-alcoholic wine. The other flavors (I like lychee and pineapple) like peach have more acidity (or actual sugar) to taste less like wine. Still, look out for that Erythritol content.
I like the stuff. Kind of a thick low cal jello product. You have to break it up in the pouch, in order to eat it. And chew it very thoroughly, as a big chunk could be a choking hazard. Not for kids. They also make a variety that doesn’t have collagen.

@yeld It reminds me of Jello jigglers - that same kind of chewy but not sticky consistency.
@Kyeh @yeld if you had any sugar free ones, that’d be similar (gummy, not too sticky)
@pakopako @yeld Ugh, I didn’t notice that:
I hate those sweeteners. I was remembering the little cups, like these:
/giphy cognac
@medz
/giphy konjac
Bought this last time and I really like it. In for another variety pack.

This stuff is awesome for low carb/low sugar eating. I have one pouch a day and it fills my fruit craving due to the strong flavor.
DIPLOMAT! RAT-A-TAT! FAT CAT! AWESOME!
