If cargo shorts arrive in cargo ships, how about friends? Do they arrive in friendships? Do courtships always end up in courts, at the end?

@radi0j0hn I gave up pants about 2 weeks after starting to work remotely. I only stood up once in a zoom meeting with my team…sometimes once is all it takes
@kc5rbq I almost want to buy these just for the belt. I love my Hanks belt but places I know I’m not carrying or love to have something a touch lighter.
@kc5rbq shorts somehow get cheapened when canvas belts are sold with them. They prob make for decent rope thingies if you need or want to tie someone up tho.

Actually, while these are shown with a two-ring “fastener”, other photos for the same item number show other styles of belt buckle, and none of them are very secure. My guess is that these belts are more decorative than structural.
@werehatrack I do all kinds of prep bf I do laundry to make clothes last longer in general. I’m that person. I make a point to zip all zippered items and often will put the jeans or other rough materials inside out. I always choose cold unless sheets or towels, use mesh bags, and hang dry delicates. I also won’t buy another front loading washer. It causes more wear in the clothes due friction and less water used.
@mehsterious@werehatrack Wow, I find just the opposite. My frontloader has never ruined clothes whereas all my washers with agitators occasionally snared and ruined a garment.
(However I am rather small and small lightweight garments are the most vulnerable. Like you, I wouldn’t dream of washing something with the zipper undone).

@cuda2000 those are similar but are 100% cotton so no spandex or stretch.
Velcro, ugh, it eats the knits if I forget to close the damnflaps before tossing them into the washer. More work sorting the load before I can run it.
