Since most of the nurses here in the ER are not very tech savvy I am seriously contemplating hitting the play button on one of those loops on a computer we don’t use much, then turning off the screen since they most likely won’t figure it out to be able to turn the sound off.
@chienfou Reminds me of when I worked down the coast a bit; Company policy was to lock your workstation, so many of my peers would mess with your PC if you left it open. One guy in particular would always check the associate manager’s machine (I sat back-to-back with the A.M.). I suggested he set a looping sound like alarm bells or embarrassing noise, lock the PC, switch off the monitor and hike the volume to its highest setting. I couldn’t get him to set the trap, though. I set mine up, but I wasn’t the management target he was.
btw, my signature move was to set the desktop background to Sponge Bob. One time I set somebody’s background to point to a network file, where I controlled the file. I could reset it at will and he was flabbergasted.
@PocketBrain
I still love the classic move of taking a desktop screen shot with the mouse pointer off the screen, then opening it as a “full screen” pic. You can sit back and watch as they try to figure out why the mouse clicks won’t work…

@ybmuG Man, I can’t wait until I get home later tonight when I’m not behind the corporate firewall so I can see what this is!
@PocketBrain @ybmuG
yeah, so far I have resisted the impulse to play the baby shark tune just on principle…
@chienfou @PocketBrain
/giphy resistance is futile
@chienfou @PocketBrain
Not what i expected, but I’ll keep it! I think it’s about right…
@PocketBrain @ybmuG
judging from what I have heard about the song you are correct!
