Taken from the introductory text of an obscure video game from the 90’s, Zero Wing, specifically the European Sega Mega Drive/Genesis port of an arcade game, this viral passage of poor translation hit the internet like a storm in the early 2000s. There’s something entertaining to me about bad English translations. Anybody here remember engrish.com? I giggle with glee reading any product description penned by an ESL (or ETL, EFL?) writer on Amazon. Whether you call it Engrish, Chinglish, or something else, it is a bottomless source of entertainment.
