I would despise the idea of looking like one of those asshats that make YooToob vids of “Is it a good idea to shoot this with a small cannon from close range?” And that’s the image these convey.
I have these. They are my “boat glasses”. I have a Sea-doo jet boat that is fairly fast and it is common for a wave to come over the boat and knock the glasses off your face. I keep a bin of several cheap glasses on the boat for guest that forget their sunglasses so it doesn’t spoil their day.
These sunglasses look pretty nice but they are not polarized despite what it says on the box! If you snap a pair of polarized glasses in half, then put the lenses on top of each other, you can rotate one lens and watch the transmission of light decrease and increase. Or if there are two sunglasses in the box, you can just put one lens from each pair in the same path. I wonder how they get away with labeling them as polarized when they are not. But they are pretty cool looking so I am going to keep them.

@werehatrack or buy them for kids as they are cheap and will break rather quickly. either way this is better than solar lights.
@werehatrack That image is reinforced on the packaging. But I like the glasses anyway.
2 for $20 at WalMart.
The wannabe Oakley ovals on the sides… They wish.

I bought these last time. I like 'em. They fit my face nicely and do what they need to do. They’re a tad dark, but generally that’s good.
