@transplant If actual recognizable bamboo fiber is not present as a major item in the product, they ought to be fucking prohibited from using the blasted word in it. This is just plain freaking fraud. And I’m getting damn tired of it.
@butthole69 Yes they were. It was suggested that putting them in the dryer would make them softer, but then it felt like sleeping on smaller rocks.
I’ve regretted buying things from meh, but these topped the list by a mile.
@yakkoTDI Lol. I was going to reply to your reply to my comment “I”, but that topic seems to have been targeted by the isomagnetic positronic disintegrator. so now I don’t have to make excuses.
I imagine the goat @speediedelivery is to blame for this, somehow.
Hmm…i wonder why they changed the description from half-moon to semicircle? Could it be they wanted to discourage all the juvenile delinquents from making ass puns? Seems like Meh is morphing into a strict librarian type.
@ohhwell They aren’t. I swear Amazon is in cahoots with Meh and raises the price ahead of a meh offering on some of these products to make it look better than it is (Meh owner Matt Rutledge sold his original deal site, woot.com to Amazon and held a position there for 2 years afterward). That said, they’re worth the price they’re asking IMO, especially for extra lumbar support. Not quite firm enough for a bolster massage, however.
Quite tempted today, as I’ve been using a cheap-chunky-foam $5 pillow to raise/separate my knees while slumbering. 83% positive and only 7% negative on the 'Zon is promising, but the last review was >18 months ago…
Another product desperately searching for a (k)need.
