I bought one of these when they were sold on Sidedeals.com in March. I could only ever charge it up one time, then it would never take another charge. The warranty registration on their site doesn’t work, and several emails to their customer service have gone unanswered.
The price was right for two thermal bottles and I don’t regret the purchase–for medical reasons I have to stay very hydrated, and having 48 ounces of water, cold, at the ready gets me halfway there. I just have to fill them both twice and by the end of the day I know I’m almost at my goal.
However, the part of these that are a phone charger are not the value add they would seem to be. They charge VERY SLOWLY AND WEAKLY. In an emergency they will keep your phone alive a little longer, but the only way these will ever actually fully charge a modern phone is if the phone is turned off and left alone for a couple of hours. If you MUST use them as a charger, plug them in when the phone is at 50% or higher, don’t expect them to rescue a phone that’s 10 minutes from empty.
