These are great if you have a dog that needs surgery. Works like a cone of shame but doesn’t clear tables if they are big dogs. I used one for my Big Boy Pit Bull. He didn’t eat it, so it was good.
Look at the age of the videos. Years old. They lost Irk and haven’t bothered to find him.
We’re lucky we’re getting new write-ups, though at some point (perhaps already!) I’m afraid they’re going to use an AI they trained up on old write-ups and fire that last human related to meh.
I’m pretty sure we just get pretty good deals on whatever Side Deal needs to sell a few more of. I appreciate it and all, but yes…
At last he threw his lantern on the ground,
and it broke into pieces and went out.
“I have come too early,” he said then; "my time is not yet.
This tremendous event is still on its way, still wandering;
it has not yet reached the ears of men.
Lightning and thunder require time;
the light of the stars requires time;
deeds, though done, still require time to be seen and heard.
This deed is still more distant from them than most distant stars -
and yet they have done it themselves.
I think that means we haven’t bought enough, though I’d argue our selection has cratered the last few years.
@stinks@Trinityscrew The then-novelty of the one-deal-a-day approach drove the initial success of Woot. But with Meh, it was no longer novel, and there are now so many places to buy cheap, totally sus crap online that just having one item is kind of anticlimactic. As for the lack of activity over here in the gab sessions, honestly, lots of online fora are shrinking, as the participants have grown tired of the entire “social media experience” for any number of reasons. If SideDeal and Morningsave (and presumably Casemates) weren’t pulling some of the weight, I think Meh might have deflated long since. And I will note that not everything that Mercatalyst has tried was a success; Mediocritee is the most obvious example, occasionally lamented, but not very loudly. I’m not sure how many people even noticed the brief existence and silent demise of Stella Carmina.
You do know that the snaps go in the back, right? That way your chin sits on the pillow and your head doesn’t drop. I wish someone would show them used that way…
@JimboNobes841 I’ve never seen one with snaps. But I always thought they should go the other way so you don’t have a big lump pushing your head forward.
@betterways@JimboNobes841 I use one of these on long trips, frequently. I can definitely confirm that having the fat part behind the neck is the right way around for me. I’ve tried it both ways, and that’s the one that works best when I’m trying to grab a safety nap in a rest area. Doubly so for the firm, contoured ones with the snap closure across the opening. (I find that while both styles work well enough, I actually get the best results with the type shown in this offer.)
I am so impressed with the quality of these neck pillows. Now if I could just get them to put my chickens up at night so I can go to sleep earlier, heck these would be more than perfect!

There’s two navys? Like dark navy and darker navy?
@awk Imperial Navy and Metric Navy.
Needs more emojis. Hard pass.
Let me guess. Gag-me grey was sold-out, so you had to go with nauseating navy.

I have never heard of a “travel pillow” before or seen someone using one.
@brennyn You have led a sheltered life.
Yay! Padded toilet seats!
@Trinityscrew Not nearly big enough for this one.
Is it just me, or is meh dying? 7:35 AM EST and less than 60 sold. And very few comments. (but I’m helping with that)
@Trinityscrew Dying? It’s dead, Jim.

@Trinityscrew Now that we have teleportation, we don’t need travel pillows. Fly traps, yes.

@Trinityscrew @werehatrack Yeah, no disagreements there. I think my take home stays the same…
I’ll take the “Daily SideDeal Deals” as long as they’ll give em, but I do feel our selection has, indeed, cratered the last few years.
Is the brick n mortar in Texas still there?
And give the VMP’s some more socks, dang it!
@stinks @Trinityscrew The B&M quietly vanished earlier in the year.

I had surgery recently, and had to sleep sitting up in a recliner for a few weeks. These made sleeping in that position a lot more comfortable.
@JOREBATE1 My wife broke her leg and was in the same situation. Really sucks bigtime.
