These just arrived last week (I bought off morning save, think I paid the same price) and so far so good. Drink stayed hot, lid kept drink in when closed and let me drink when open (I have a cup from Target that the lid doesn’t let liquid out while open). Outside of cup did not reflect temp of inside of cup. So I’d say it worked as described. I got stainless steel, and I have put them in the top rack of the dishwasher (because I am lazy).
BUT… the description says non slip silicone base. I’ll have to double check, but unless it’s a coating I know mine are stainless steel on the bottom. Of course I brought a Contigo to work today.
