These are honestly really really good, very worth the money. Considering another pair so I’ve got even better surround sound with them. Very loud for how tiny they are
@PooltoyWolf@shirlema these are very tempting, since I also seem to collect speakers, but I’m afraid my wife will send me to the mower shed if I buy anymore.
That’s what I’ve been looking for, speakers that connect to each other, but most don’t. I have libratone and oontz at the moment, but only one of each, and its hard to get libratones now that they stopped producing them for the US and they’re back to being a european-only product.
@chienfou It must be done each time you power on, but that’s so you can still use them individually if you so choose. The pairing process is very simple though, and takes only a few seconds.
@PooltoyWolf
yeah, sort of like battery packs, (some do some don’t) so wasn’t sure if it did pass thru or not. I may yet pull the trigger on these for when we travel to Europe this fall. Even though they are micro-USB I like the idea that at least the cable is a ‘y’ so you can do both at once easily.
@chienfou For the price, the sound quality is good enough that I’d buy them if I specifically needed something very packable for a trip!
EDIT: That Y cable is a very welcome inclusion, yes. I can also use it to charge any two low-draw Micro USB devices at once…of which, I have too many to count. Haha
@PooltoyWolf (or anybody else out there with experience with these…)
Do they stay paired for stereo each time you turn them on once you pair them the first time or do you have to do that same process each time? Is it important to turn them on in the same order each time?
@pooltoywolf…hoping you can answer a quick question, lol!
Is there a secret to getting these to pair? I can not get them to do it. I tried Google and YouTube, but all I could find was that they could pair, but not the steps to do so.
I can see them both listed separately on my Bluetooth device connection list, but only 1 will play at a time. And I tried holding down both buttons at the same time to get into pairing mode…but I’m clearly doing something wrong, lol!
@k4evryng If I remember correctly, with both speakers turned on, press the power button on one of them twice, and that should pair the two speakers to each other for stereo sound. (Or, try pressing the power button twice on the other speaker while it’s off.) Once they are paired to each other, you should be able to pair them to your music device as if they are one speaker. EDIT: Pair the speakers to each other BEFORE activating Bluetooth on your device.
EDIT AGAIN: If you’ve paired ONE speaker to your device, you’ll need to ‘forget’ (un-pair) that speaker BEFORE connecting the stereo set.

Can anyone confirm what the charging input cable is? USB-C? Micro USB??
@chienfou Micro USB.
@kmschroeder70
thanks… bummer.
I am trying to get rid of all my Micro stuff… but it’s still tempting. sigh

@shirlema I can concur, the sound quality surprised even me, and I collect Bluetooth speakers.
@PooltoyWolf @shirlema these are very tempting, since I also seem to collect speakers, but I’m afraid my wife will send me to the mower shed if I buy anymore.
@PooltoyWolf @regnowsin @shirlema
At least you will have music out there!
@shirlema do they connect with each other, then?
That’s what I’ve been looking for, speakers that connect to each other, but most don’t. I have libratone and oontz at the moment, but only one of each, and its hard to get libratones now that they stopped producing them for the US and they’re back to being a european-only product.
@meniska @shirlema Yes, these little guys will connect to each other and produce stereo sound between them. It’s a cool feature to have.
@PooltoyWolf
is that pairing (stereo) a ‘one and done’ feature or do you have to do it each time you turn them on?
@chienfou It must be done each time you power on, but that’s so you can still use them individually if you so choose. The pairing process is very simple though, and takes only a few seconds.
@PooltoyWolf @shirlema
One more question. Will they play while charging?
@chienfou They should! I haven’t personally tried with mine yet, but I have yet to meet a Bluetooth speaker that wouldn’t play while being charged.

@PooltoyWolf
OK PtW, you got me. I’m gonna pull the trigger! Thanks for the personal endorsement.

@chienfou Haha no worries, glad to have been of help to you…and Meh’s coffers!

@chienfou See my reply to you just a bit up this page.
@PooltoyWolf
thanks… my CRS* is flaring up. I swore I had asked that question already…
(* Can’t Remember Shit)
@chienfou @PooltoyWolf Oh, is THAT what it’s called? I seem to get that a lot too!
@chienfou Oh I know all about CRS.
@pooltoywolf…hoping you can answer a quick question, lol!

@PooltoyWolf thank you so, so much!! I’ll try it tomorrow!!
