@dvermilion I bought them to make joke slippers, since I was told my new orange pickleball shoes look like bedroom slippers. Unfortunately, one of the sponges looks really dirty. (On Amazon, someone said it’s not dirt, it’s just black dye from the other sponge, but it kind of ruins my joke.) MEH.
24 hours dedicated to… these.
Truly the most meh thing that I have seen in a while.
Where is FameGirl3001 to spice things up, telling us all that she just spent $500 on these at Costco, and now she can return those and help her sun buy a car?
ICYMI, never mind. Leaving that story untold is probably for the best right now.
Some of the Amazon reviews are a bit bizarre with them coming pre-soiled. I have 3 pre-soaped sponges on their way, now I’ll have 2 more sponge thingies coming. I hope I’m sponge-worthy.
I bought these during the Meh-rathon and already used them to wash my car. They did the job and no signs of falling apart or anything after the one use. It was actually nice to have the two different sides.
I’ve used one of these (in blue) to wash my vehicles for years, and it’s the best thing I’ve found for the job. It’s a good size, the little “fingers” seem to do a good job with general cleaning, and the textured side makes removing bugs and other clinging things easier.
But one has lasted me several years with no signs of wearing out, and non-member shipping puts this over $10, so I’ll pass. But if you’re a member and don’t have one, $5 for two is a solid deal.

Well this certainly won’t help the 3 men in a tub…
@somf69 The 356 was a two-seater anyway.
I thought they were slippers and I reject wholesale any and all suggestions to the contrary even now.
@dvermilion They’re pretty clearly ice skates. I mean, you can wear them as slippers if you want, but they’ll probably cut up your floors.
@dvermilion I was sadly disappointed as well
@dvermilion @TeamTweety Maybe you could velcro some flat scuffs onto them, and use them to clean the floor.

More people are spongy-worthy than people think.
@IAMIS Apparently the soil is just black dye from the companion sponge. Still irritating, though.

Harbor Freight has something similar for $6, but 1 mitt only. $5 for 2 and free shipping sells it for me.
/showme punctual terrific locust
@mediocrebot South West locust… Is it trying to kill time?
Looking at the meh button…
