@dahobbs9 Yeah. Look at the fourth picture. The black base is basically just about as tall as the length of a AA battery. OTOH, that could be really convenient for close work somewhere.
You know what’s amazingly useful? A writeup of a small lantern that includes something like a lumens rating. Also, something that included the actual size of the lantern, or pictures that didn’t avoid showing anything for scale.
I know it’s a small, cheap lantern that only provides a little bit of light. I’d just like to know how small and dim it is.
@sfwineguy Look at the fourth photo. The AA batteries go into cylindrical sockets in the body of the light, and given the scale, that makes these less than six inches, probably under five. I’m guessing that the max diameter is just a shade over two inches.
As for lumens, “some” is probably the best we can hope for here. (I’m going to guess about 100-150 total.)

@FreePasta Eh, no, I don’t. I have too many of the prior versions. I’ve got some that I’ve never even filled with batteries.
These look HUGE! but the illusion is Mesmerizing, but Don’t let it fooool you. These things are small, SMall, tiny, itty bitty and mi mute even
