@shiranissosexy Got the Diamondclean here last year, $99 for 1 w/3 replacement heads. I love it, but these are 1/3 the cost each. Of course, I have no idea how much lower quality they are than the Diamond.
I’ve just been using this kind of toothbrush. I get refill heads from A m a z o n and it takes 1 AA battery every so often, so I don’t have to take up a bunch of counter space with a charging cradle. The dentist said my teeth look good, so it must be working OK. They only cost $7 or so.
@Kyser_Soze Having used both, those are better than a regular manual toothbrush, but also not comparable to a Sonicare. The latter really does make your mouth much cleaner, and you feel it!
@Kyser_Soze@PooltoyWolf I actually use a Sonicare that uses 2x AA batteries. I bought it after my original Sonicare rechargeable’s NiCd gave out. Newer version available.
OralB’s rotating brush heads don’t really compare.
Meh, could you let us buy just one? There are so many times i have not purchased something here because you made we had to buy two. Maybe one for $40 or 2 for $69. Thanks
Is anyone in the DFW area interested in just one? I’d be willing to order and then meet somewhere (I’m on the FW side but I need to do some stuff in the mid-cities at some point).
@Trinityscrew
IMO it looks like 2 brush heads (they probably consider to be standard), and one bonus one they throw in (that they maybe consider to be premium).
BTW if you get any of these powered toothbrushes, always be on the lookout for sales on the heads. I’ve been able to find them in the sale bin for 50%+ off at Kroger a couple times a year. If you have to buy them at full price they are very expensive.
Of course this goes on sale the day I get a root canal! I’ve always been nervous about these cleaning the cement out from between the crown and the remainder of the tooth.

Not DiamondClean? Meh…

@shiranissosexy The Diamondclean heads work with this model, FTW!
Got to think about it. I mean, maybe buy it later tonight, about tooth-hurty?
@eeterrific
@eeterrific @erthian Coral? Huh. I always thought it was Curhl…
This is a good deal. I’d go for it if I needed another toothbrush, or even another spare.
Darn. Was looking to get one, not two.
Sonicare saved my crusty toofs. If I needed a new one, I’d purchase these
Gotta brush fast…
I am interested in the other attachments.
A great deal. A quality product that someone could really use instead of some recent Meh offers.
Phenominal write up. Fox Molar and Dana Skully are two of my favorite characters. Amehzing!!!
@meowmixkitty came here to say this too. Nice copy!!
@meowmixkitty @mollama
+1 for the self-referential write-up
Funny - Watching X-files right now when I checked to see what I was going to be clicking the meh button on tonight…coincidence? Conspiracy?
$59.40 on ebay right now.
Same deal at Costco for the exact same set right now.
@jnicholson0619 yea they have this deal pretty often. they also have the ultra fancypants models for $180 right now too.

@Kyser_Soze maybe they meant your teeth look good for their wallet.

“We make holes in teeth!”
-Cavity Creeps, probably

@reeldl or why not let us buy used for an even better discount!?
@reeldl This is two in one package from the manufacturer.
@reeldl It is tooth-for-Tuesday.
These are excellent, we have them for everyone in the household. Highly recommend!
I would be all over this if it was one for $35. But alas, it is Tuesday…
@PooltoyWolf They don’t last as long as you would hope for, so keep the other one and you’ll be happy two years from now.
@PooltoyWolf
@Octomeh Oh dang, thanks!!
@Badpookey I’m guessing you mean the internal rechargeable battery? About how much of a lifespan would I be expected to get?
Is anyone in the DFW area interested in just one? I’d be willing to order and then meet somewhere (I’m on the FW side but I need to do some stuff in the mid-cities at some point).
@gt0163c it’s the start of Toothmates!
Whatever happened to “May the 4th be with you” Star War things? Is that no longer a meme?
(And am I that old now?)
Hey Meh people!! I have a question!!
“What’s Included?
2x Philips Sonicare 5000 handles
1x DiamondClean white brush head
2x Optimal gum care brush heads
2x Chargers
2x Travel cases”
So one brush head for 2 handles? Or one EXTRA brush head for a total of 3 brush heads?? Seems silly to sell 2 tooth brush handles with one head.

@Trinityscrew Bottom of third to last pic, the package gives what is included: 2 handles, 3 brush heads, 2 chargers and 2 cases.
You can get just one for $35 on Amazon. Just search sonicare. For example hx6810 is $34.99 after coupon.
I’ve owned and used one of these for almost a decade, and I’ll never go back to a manual toothbrush.
$126.81 on Walmart.com
I’ll bite (ha!) as my old AA-powered one is about dead anyway.
Also after reading about Fox Molar and Dana Skully it’s a good time to dig up this old chestnut:
@blandoon I found that an AA-powered Sonicare is still available.
/giphy moving-overblown-toothbrush
/buy
This is nearly cheaper than buying replacement heads for my current brushes.
@Pufferfishy It worked! Your order number is: hostile-radical-pot
