@1DisabledWarVet Doesn’t Android do Qi? This is a Qi2 charging pad so a new Android phone should do “knock off Apple MagSafe”, I mean Qi2, and an older Android should do Qi1 which is “MagSafe, but faster…except if a gnat breathes it gets knocked out of alignment and no charge…”
(hey, I worked at Apple and Google, I get to make fun of them both…and as normal Google made made the “better by spec” system that charged 2x to 4x faster in many cases, and Apple made the “better in the real world” recognizing that most people use wireless charging overnight and the real problem isn’t “is it charged by 2am when I get up at 4am or 6am” but “did I misalign it when tired and get no charge”, or “did I align it perfectly but anything moving in the room while I’m asleep knocked it off of alignment and I have no charge”)
I’m not sure why people are saying this “isn’t android compatible.” The main pad is qi2 which covers the current generation and most previous through backwards compatibility with qi. The second pad for airpods is also qi just not qi2 with magnets. Good for any wireless charging earbuds. The apple watch pad, yeah, you’re ass out on that. But two out of three ain’t bad.
@Potatoboy I wouldn’t count it out! I have charged some Qi devices on an Apple Watch charger, it is very slow and even more fiddly about the exact positioning. It is clear they are not the “almost the same" spec (like say MagSafe and Qi2), but “kind of close enough to sometimes work”.
I mean it isn’t something to count on, but in a pinch it is worth a try!
@Potatoboy I’m looking for documentation that the main pad is Qi2, and while I do see “Qi-enabled phones” in the specs, the only mention I find of Qi2 is “iPhone (up to 10W or 15W Fast Charge/Qi2 depending on model)”, which is about inputs supported by the phone and could just as well be satisfied by Qi rather than Qi2 on the charger. Do you know of any references establishing it really is Qi2?
This works for Android. But the watch section tends to fall down when bumped. It worked well for a Yellowstone trip to toss in my bags rather than toting around lightning adapters. I only have the iPhone for air tag tracking.

Does it keep my coffee warm too?
@cfg83 if you sit down on one of these, you won’t need coffee.
Any wattage info? And is there a charging difference between the phone and accessory section?
@agnesnutter iPhone (up to 10W or 15W Fast Charge/Qi2 depending on model), AirPods/wireless earbuds (up to 5W), and an Apple Watch (up to 2.5W)
But can it make a Margarita? Or a Daiquiri?
Apple … Pass. Need ANDROID charging!
@MarkDaSpark Yeah, it needs little go between adapters.
@MarkDaSpark–No, but it can make a Screwed Driver & a Tequila Sunrise, but ya gotta drank a 1/5 of good Vodka, or a 1/5 of expensive Tequila 1st!!

Useless for me. My Apple Watch has a titanium fixed band, so no amount of “pop up” is gonna give me the clearance needed. Pass.
Hmmm …

@slartibartfast nothing solid, I’m assuming it’s qi2/magsafe but even if it’s qi it’ll work for my needs the magnets and faster charging are gravy
I bought a pack of these a couple years ago. It has been a reliable charger for my phone watch and headphones while traveling.

Lots of conversation about not being android compatible… but does anyone actually know if a Samsung watch will charge on this?
Should work with my Pixel 9a, if not I have iPhone friends that can use, so not a total loss…
