$15 towards building my own IRK, to qualify for my other pre-built IRK… Which will be “better” .
BTW, for the $49.99 spend to qualify for the “free” IRK, is that listed price or did the tax and such count towards that? Would hate to get screwed over miner stipulations and prefer getting screwed with IRK content lol
Would be great if it worked. It does work 1/10th of the time. Each phone needs to be positioned in very specific ways, otherwise charging light on charger goes red and your phone is dead in the morning
@scilynt they are not that bad and you won’t have vibrations because they are padded really well. It’s just that they are a bit finicky till you find the right position for the phone (it’s just in two directions, no need for wiggling left or right but you might have to forward or backwards), and they are really picky with what charger you plug them in. Once they work, they are really good. They are worth the try at this price.
@goblin Got them earlier and “shaved” the edges off. You do have to get them centered, but the light tells you when they’re good, and it also tells you when they’re done charging. My significant other got a new Kindle Paperwhite for her birthday, and since it has wireless charging, she uses it for that all the time. It fits well.
These are not “fast”. 14 hour to full charge on my Galaxy Note 20.
That and they won’t fit newer phones as the lip around them prevents your phone from being close enough. I had to use a razor to cut the rubber edge around the corners so my phone can rest on it.
@sudynim I use it for my iPhone using one of the BCmaster chargers I got from meh, and it charges it in about three hours. Maybe you have a phone case??

@scilynt Previous posts say list price only counts towards the IRK rebate.

@goblin damn, not excited to hear this since I planned to use them in the car so likely even more finicky with vibrations and such.

@sudynim it will really depend on what charger you plug into them.

Bought one of these previously, it would not charge through a thin phone case. Had to take phone out of case for it to work. Hard Pass.
