@mwarren I’d like to believe that. I really would. I somehow think it’s more likely Meh bought these because men’s lavender and pink shirts of all sizes were what was discarded, and Meh specifically bought the “normal” (non-fat) sizes because they figured those sizes sell best. Yes, I know I’m a (fat) skeptic.
“where are all of the normal, boring Meh folks?? The ones who buy things quietly and don’t tell us about it. The ones who read, but don’t post.”
CANNOT believe meh would resort to calling us out like this… mainly because it worked exactly as intended.
Now, as someone who wears nice shirts, the only advice I can share is this: do not form your own opinion on clothing/style it will always be wrong forever and just wear what others say instead
@handedger
IDK about that… I was always a trend setter, back in the 80’s and 90’s I was wearing boots with my little cute short dresses and “some people” would give me the side eye. Now, these days, it’s all the rage, I don’t think I see anything but boots with dresses. Jus sayen…
@handedger@macromeh
Well yes, you are correct. Perhaps the girls around here just weren’t as stylish, I did the cowboy boots without the whole Western wear look though. I guess instead of a trend setter I just brought it back. I’ve always been called an old soul and apparently my fashion sense came from the 30’s. I used to always say that I should have been born in the horse and buggy days! Petticoats are pretty cool too!
It can be hard to find 100% cotton items, especially at a good price. But idk if these men’s shirts will fit my female torso that keeps my neck and arms attached.
Woo hoo! Equalled my record for clicks in a row… Which is only 258, quite puny compared to the thousands some of you have, but pretty big for me who struggles to get over 100 usually.
@Michaelforman I liked mediocritee! I wasn’t as big a fan on their prices though.
I do understand they had to set prices high to make a profit printing in small numbers, but I’m cheap.
I don’t know if Meh has grown over the years, if there’s more of us mehsters out here now than there used to be, it might be profitable for them now…
There have been a couple of things bugging us lately.
No, not that. Please stop dramatically gesturing at the world in general. That will all work itself out in three billion years with the heat death of the sun, at the very latest.
There have been studies that show both men and women ranked members of the opposite sex as more attractive when wearing shades of red and/or pink. Probably because those colors are linked with sexual arousal (part of the physical reaction to being turned on is blood coming closer to skin).
As for v, necks, it makes your face look less round. Not you specifically, that’s a general you.
@pdb42 Prior to the '50s pink was considered a masculine color because it’s a shade of red and blue was considered feminine but both genders wore pink - it’s thought by historians that the reinforcing the colors as boy/girl was to reestablish gender roles after WW2.
@pdb42@Sn0wf14ke it was considered just another shade of red “light red” until the late 17th Century. Pink, being a shade of red, was associated with war and battle, which is probably why was considered a manly color.
@OnionSoup@pdb42@Sn0wf14ke Lavender was also a masculine color. I have about six yards of a lovely lavender silk brocade that I’ll use some day to make an upper-class-ish 18th century gentleman’s outfit for my colonial reenacting hobby.
So…10.00 for 2 nice vnecks was fine…but to return them costs me more than half of that price. .
These size “mediums” are huge “mediums”!
More like large. So, to me, that’s misinformation, as in a “defective” sale. I can’t use them.
I’ll still always buy things from meh, but I wish they would have supported my customer service explanation and request on this .

Gender-specific or Unisex??
@IndifferentDude Well, these are mens shirts but we all have torsos, necks and arms…
@IndifferentDude @troy That’s a bold assumption.
/showme a super-heroine with no neck
@IndifferentDude @troy hahaha
I didn’t need mesh routers yesterday, but could have used Mesh shirts. So close!

Lol shorts without cargo pockets. Where else am I going to put my George Costanza wallet?
Why does meh hate us fat people?
@madanthony because regular buyers already cleaned out those sizes. meh only carries what the population at large discards.

@handedger @Lynnerizer
Well it to long enough for the rest of society to come around…amirite?
@handedger @Lynnerizer I think the look has been around for a bit longer than you might think

Dale Evans, ca. 1930’s

Didn’t they already offer these shirts? Weren’t these the less popular color options? Geezus, Meh. Leave some crap for the Irks.
@goldnectar same brand but not solid colors. The ones before had prints all over them.
@goldnectar @OnionSoup and many thought the prints looked like hospital gowns.
Is there a size guide?
@Ten9Eight size guide at the source link (price comparison link).
@TimW I don’t that I ever realized the comparison price text was a link!
@Ten9Eight one of the best things about Meh…they show you reviews of the product with minimal effort on your part. (But no reviews this time)
I like how the sections of the pie chart are currently appropriately sized for their labels. Oddly satisfying.
@PooltoyWolf strangely ´meta’ (as in going beyond, not as in the facebook company)
@pmarin Still irritated at that company’s insistence on changing the contemporary meaning of that word!

Bring back Mediocritee! I apologize for complaining about the price. They’re the best shirts I own and they need to be replaced.

My god, you’re right.
I’m a man - V-Neck and these colors?
@pdb42 flattering on men and women.
There have been studies that show both men and women ranked members of the opposite sex as more attractive when wearing shades of red and/or pink. Probably because those colors are linked with sexual arousal (part of the physical reaction to being turned on is blood coming closer to skin).

@pdb42 yeah man. try some interesting and different colors, it’s not 1957.
@pdb42 Prior to the '50s pink was considered a masculine color because it’s a shade of red and blue was considered feminine but both genders wore pink - it’s thought by historians that the reinforcing the colors as boy/girl was to reestablish gender roles after WW2.

Are these shirts pre-shrunk???
@Peanutcash not the same shirt but same brand… There is a review saying it shrunk for them… So probably best to size up to be safe.

Awesome marketing… I’m thinking you’ll be selling Christmas ornaments this year on 12/25
VAN GOGH! MANGO! TANGO! AWESOME!
@somf69 You just reminded me to go buy Valentine’s Day chocolates.
$10
@Jebbielax
/showme $10 of Monopoly money
@mediocrebot smh
Probably would have ordered these if they came in size extra schmedium.
@skierfox haha. Interested in mine? Haha. See my note here.
So…10.00 for 2 nice vnecks was fine…but to return them costs me more than half of that price.

@sawaustin Put 'em in the wash! They should shrink up nicely with a warm cycle
@troy thaaaanks!!!
It’s funny, because I “normally” almost never put stuff in the dryer…but yours is a great suggestion…I can’t believe you read that
@sawaustin @troy Haha - and just like that a potential drawback becomes an advantage.
