These look like they would be so cool if they were waterless essential oil diffusers that made the room smell like candle too instead of just spraying water
According to the video, these have “filter sticks” or “sponge sticks” that have to be replaced with a roughly 2-year supply included. From a little googling, I can’t seem to find replacements for sale anywhere. Anyone else wondering if this becomes useless after the filters wear out?
@sjk3 The flames above oil rigs is very soothing. It looks like money! It’s likened to Illinois Mississippi River bottomland pig farmers. The horrific smell is soothing to them too… money.
@ardycakeNo. The instructions explicitly say “Filtered water”. (Distilled would likely be best.) The water is used to create a gentle jet of water mist which an LED flame-color beam illuminates. Essential oils of any kind will gum up the mist generator.

@yakkoTDI Stop, I’m getting misty…
I think my LARP troupe could use these in the ‘tavern’.
I hope this deal can bring back the flame.

@triavalon You could always use this to keep the mist theme going!

C’mon now, meh. Birthday’s over. Go ahead and blow out the candles already.
By saying not to pour margaritas in these, you mean we should put straight tequila in them to be aerosolized? Challenge accepted!
@warpedrotors Well, technically, it is distilled…
So how much humidity do these add to a room?
@phendrick I’m guessing not enough if it’s dry & too much if it’s humid.
@phendrick Maybe like one more human breathing?
Why?
Put that flame on top of a Tiki head; then we’re talking.
Wish they were taller
@user36587665 Wish they were a baller
Jokes on you! I find gas flame atop a oil drilling rig to be so very romantic and soothing.

I can’t believe it. Meh is selling the PERFECT gift for the Unitarian minister in your life! Sure didn’t see that one coming.
Same price on QVC. I think I’ll wait for this to show up on side deal for $10.
@icerc “As-Is” on QVC. Likely open box returns. New on QVC is $50
@icerc Sidedeal is usually the same price as Meh, I’ve even seen the Same item priced Higher than Meh.
Do you think i could put lavender essential oil in it?
@ardycake No. The instructions explicitly say “Filtered water”. (Distilled would likely be best.) The water is used to create a gentle jet of water mist which an LED flame-color beam illuminates. Essential oils of any kind will gum up the mist generator.
What “refills” will it need
@dahobbs9 tiny cylinder papery ones. You’d have to make your own if possible
crazy to have to have filters. .
