@awk No sign of any actual frogs ever since they changed their logo, too. Despite many Google searches, I have yet to discover the meaning or connection to frogs at all.
I’ve been wanting Bluetooth headphones but with a cord so I don’t lose them. But I don’t want to have to clip it onto my shirt either. Can it just hang around the back of my neck or something? Or does it have to clip?
@LaserEyes I don’t trust them to stay in my ears well enough to prevent the free-hanging main unit from pulling them out, so I just use the magnetic cable holder to clip it to my shirt collar.
The raised buttons for volume and track control are easy to use
without looking. The hub button which controls power, play/pause, call
and voice controls is located at the top so it’s easy to distinguish
from the buttons for volume and track control.
Does anyone know if I can connect these ifrogz to more than one device at a time? I need to connect my headphones to my phone and laptop at the same time. Most of the el cheapo headsets only allow one connection. I bought a lot of El cheapos from Meh.

To charge your earbuds, connect the micro USB end of the included charging cable to the
port at the end of the wireless hub and the USB end to your preferred USB outlet. The LED
will light red while they are charging and will turn off when they are fully charged.
FWIW the fine folks at iFrogz are also connected to Mophie and Braven products.

Anybody have the foggiest idea how to change the
Okay, wow. So, these are like amazing. The magnetic clip on thing is just wonderful. No extra weight tugging on my ears and the cord doesn’t dangle down when I bend over to pick something up while mowing. I had to tuck the cord on my old set inside my shirt which would inevitably get caught and pulled out of my ears.
I had to use the largest ear pieces to fit snugly in my cavernous ear holes, but the medium sized ones might work as well since there’s no extra weight from a hanging control/battery pack pulling them out. I will have to see which one is more comfortable.
I haven’t really put the battery life to the test yet but it charged up real quickly.
They sound just fine to my uncultured ears.
I would buy these again.
WTF… mine got to USPS sorting at the nearest center 5 days ago and is now languishing somewhere. Hope they show up soon. I need to be able to use them to mow etc.
I must say, I am surely glad that I bought these. This was a fantastic deal. I use this type (wireless, but with the connecting wire) earbuds every single day. I have a bunch of different ones, and these are very well designed and sound fantastic for my purpose, which is mostly listening to books and podcasts. I did listen to music quickly, just to see, and they sound better than some very well known, pricier pairs that I own. Oh… and they are wayyyy more comfortable than all the others, except one VERY expensive pair. I’m thrilled that I have not only one, but TWO pair! I definitely recommend grabbing them if they come around again.
This was my first meh.com purchase. I couldn’t pass up a 2-fer like this! For $5 a pop, the sound is great. These paired easily with my cell phone, so I can listen to my podcasts and music while I walk my dog. The magnetic clip actually stays put, too. The buds stay in my ears and are very, very comfortable. The sound is high quality. I know I could go with a wireless version, but since Murphy’s Law is a very real thing, I know I will eventually lose these, but I will only be out a few bucks.
@GrandmaLyn this is exactly what I do too I only listen to my podcasts and audible books for 3 things… driving, cooking and must importantly, walking the dog. If I want to listen, I have to be doing one of these things. It’s my reward and takes them from being somewhat cumbersome to very enjoyable.
Meh.com is the worst company I ever dealt with. There is zero after sales support. If the product is defective and customer wants to return they will not answer your emails or support tickets. It is a waste of time to deal with this company. I do not recommend this company and their product to anyone. Completely disappointed!
OK. so mine magically changed the EQ (i.e.audio) setting to bass boost for some reason. After a bunch of searching on the 'Net I found NADA for changing it back (was using signature setting). MANUAL LINKS ARE USELESS. (and now I have a half dozen of the same shitty manual on my phone…)
Spent a few minutes going thru various button press combos and finally hit on THIS:
Press the power and the + or - button at the same time for a couple of seconds. It will cycle thru the 3 settings. Weirdly enough it is not a ‘loop’. It is a set of stacked settings (Bass Boost/Signature/podcast) so if you want to move from one to the next you have to hold the power button and the correct +/- key simultaneously. I am posting this for anyone else that has this problem, as well as the more likely scenario that it will happen again and I will be stuck searching for this info once more.
That being said, I LOVE these (iFrogz sound hub XD2). They last for HOURS, sound pretty good, have good range across the yard, are waterproof to the point that I have never had trouble with them outside in Alabama in the summer when I sweat out a couple of pounds of water in an afternoon, as already noted they fit under my hearing protectors when I am on the mower and the magnetic catch is great for attaching these to the top of my t-shirt to take up the strain on my ears by supporting the control box/battery part. This is one of my favorite meh purchases!
To future me: I put in some of the most likely search terms I might use to remember that this is here… YW.
All right… fast forward a little over 2 years. My first set has failed at the connection point where the block attaches to the headphone lines. I’m super bummed for two reasons.
One I really like that set and two I have no idea where the second one is! In fact I just reordered a set off of eBay to replace the ones that finally died. And I then thought to check and see what/where I had ordered them and realized there should be two sets of them.
I can’t remember if maybe I gave one set away cuz they were so good, or if I squirreled them away someplace where I wouldn’t forget…which is like the equivalent of throwing them away!
At any rate I will have a second one coming in a few days, and if I’m lucky I’ll find the other set in the meantime. The existing set actually still works on one side, so there’s that. They have been used and abused over the last couple of years and have held up amazingly well. Their current color is a sort of off gray… I would not hesitate to buy these again (obviously).

The company’s name is iFrogz and they’re not green? The entire marketing team should be fired immediately!

@awk @PooltoyWolf Ok, by popular demand, here are some frogz for you:

@LaserEyes from the pictures, you could go the nose piercing route
I went for it anyway

$80 for two pair at Amazon?
/giphy startled baby
@stinks The manufacturer, zagg, sells them for $22.49 each and is running a 25% off sale… so just a bit over 3x the meh price
Do they work with a Mac?
@craigthom My name is Mac and they work with me!
@craigthom I have these and they don’t seem to connect with my old Mac but I haven’t tried on my newer Mac yet.
Does “microphone support” mean it has a microphone? The skateboarder in the last Amazon picture seems to be holding his phone to his head.
I am so confused in the upside down world. Now even wireless headphones means they have wires.

Use your ear buds on this.
Any info on controls re these?
The intro copy includes mentions of use w audiobooks.
Headphones that are useful w audiobooks include
SEPARATE
buttons controls for
Play/pause
Vol up/down
Jump forward/back
Which is why I normally use LG Tones. Perfect for audiobooks.
Any info re the controls on these? Amazon didn’t seem to have that info, and I haven’t yet had time to look elsewhere re this.

Something about this made “sello tape” by Flight of the Conchords come to mind.
@GirlPleeeeze correction, the actual name of the song is “Pencils in the Wind”, but we’ve always just called it “The Tape Song” .
Who’s this?
Did he eat Irk?
@Kerig3 he’s cuuute
@GirlPleeeeze Girl, pleeeeze…
@Kerig3 that’s how I imagine my wife sees me.
@pmarin Then you might want to work on your biceps and thighs a bit.
So is this little guy a “Mehanderthal”?
@Kerig3 I see new T-shirt theme coming
@pmarin Most likely given that someone was commissioned for this artwork.
Does it cost extra to mention that these work on Bluetooth?
$11 on amazon.
