If these go around the width of the shoe, how does the sizing work? Is a woman’s size 9 shoe that much wider than an 8?? It seems like it would be better to state the circumference rather than shoe size. In winter, I tend to wear boots and Merrells which are a lot bulkier than shoes, but I have a small shoe size. So a large? Yeah, I know - I am thinking way too hard on this.
