Same price as February 2023. One has worked fine, the other shot sparks out and you can see scorch marks. Anker support was horrendous and has left me unsure if I will continue to support them as a company.
@whomeyesu the prongs on the one unit were always somewhat loose out of the box. It functioned fine for a couple of months and then one day a large spark was emitted and there were scorch marks at the base of the prongs. Anker is a well known and mostly reliable brand, I guess until it isn’t.
Similar to the other commenter, mine have a 50% failure rate. Once I got an appropriate cable, the first one I tried was bad. The plug was loose and wobbly. When I plugged it in to the main and the USB C cable in to a Chromebook, it looked like it was working, but then I touched the charger and it turned off. If I set it down just the right way, it would work. But if I touched it, it would stop working. This does not seem safe.
The other one, however, had a stiff-feeling plug that did not wobble around. I plugged it in and it worked when I touched it or nudged it.
4/10 Too much of a roll of the dice if it works or will catch fire.

Why not. We the people need more wall chargers for devices that no longer supply them.

@dschonew How long was it used before heat sink melted? Usually only buy name brand…than meh discovered me.

@dschonew Thanks definitely will check for that well within the meh return policy.
Unfortunately these don’t support the PPS standard used for fast-charging on modern devices, so this is not the one-charger-for-everything you need.
