This is the kind of item that used to be a “Take one for the team” purchase on the other site. I’m not going to say it’s totally useless, but it’s damned close.
I get it; this thing is being billed as something you want to keep around for an emergency. A better emergency plan would be to stock the battery types you’re actually going to need rather than these which might or might not work.
And these are not going to work for any device requiring a significant power draw. They might work for a very short period of time before the excessive draw kills the AA batteries, or the draw may be more than the things can handle in the first place. Even if ihe draw doesn’t kill them, the lower capacity of AAs in comparison to Cs and Ds is going to render them useless pretty quickly.
