@andrewx29, I think you misspelled my dog’s favorite candy, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups? Regardless, Walmart sells 12 pks of Reese’s for about $2.25, so 8 pks, which is 96 cups, would be $18 + tax & they likely taste better [to my dog & I anyway]!! 🫢
@1DisabledWarVet@chienfou I had an elderly uncle who used to feed his beloved dog Hershey’s kisses. He called them the dog’s “vitamins”. All the family told him that the chocolate was not good for the dog, but my uncle was headstrong and just ignored everybody. The dog died an early death. But the dog did love those things. I think he only had it less than two years, because I recall seeing the dog over only one Christmas visit.
They are delicious. I find them too sweet. I let them melt in my mouth. The first one (they are individually wrapped) leave me wanting for more, but at 70 Cal each, I just enjoy a second one
Ordered them last time. I was a little dubious about the quinoa, but it’s fine. Just a little bit of crispy in the peanut butter part. I like Unreals coconut bars, too.
I’ve eaten some, but I gave most away to a friend for some events coming up.
BTW, someone is gonna say something about getting “white stuff” on them when they get older. YES, I’ve found other Unreal treats get that – its just cocoa butter bloom. It comes from the fats migrating to the surface. It’s FINE to eat. https://www.canr.msu.edu/news/blooming_chocolate It’s not mold or anything.
Got these last time. The Chocolate is extra thick but the candy itself is about 2/3 the size of a Reese cup. I was pretty impressed at the flavor. You can’t taste the quinoa at all, it just adds a bit of crunch to the fairly minimal filling. I would order these again.’
The best buy dates on these are hilariously close (10 days from now!?!), but these aren’t going to go stale on the 15th. They should last well beyond the “best by” date.
This is the healthier version of a classic which in all actuality turns me away. If eye am about to eat a sweet snack that eye am already aware is bad for me. Damn sure want it to be original and not some hybrid off spring.
@whomeyesu It’s a treat either way and not really “healthy”. I do like these better than Reese’s, though. They’re just better balanced: Nice darker chocolate with a more savory peanut butter.
I bought 300 last time and I’m tempted to buy another 300 this time around.
I can’t wait to try them on s’mores instead of chocolate.
@goffstock Currently in possession of 2.5 boxes of King Size Peanut Butter Lovers. Can’t stand the variety of this snack that has crunchy stuff within it. Previous purchasers have mentioned this does not have a smooth peanut butter filling.
WARNING:
At least one review on Amazon says these are “addictive”. Further, it says, “The little quinoa crisps are just dope”.
Meh should be ashamed for narcotics trafficking. I’m going to contact my congress people and complain. Hope I can find someone sober enough and also not in on the drug profiteering. (But the CIA is another story. Cartels In Amazonia?)
@ Customer Support, attention! Please fix.
I hit the BUY button with the full intent of choosing the XXL size option, but the drop down box was not there. I guess just the regular size are on the way now (and the reviews say they are small). Please upgrade my order when the kinks are worked out. (And keep them in the shade while they are in transit.) TIA
I’ve been coming to this stupid site since maybe the second week and probably participate more in this board than any other.
And I only just realized that there are different threads each day.

Bought these last time and made fun of them as a potential shartnado from the Inulin content. But I stand corrected, these are really nice, and the kEEnWAH adds a perfect crunch much like tiny rice crisps. Better than Reeses, better chocolate anyway. Not too flatulocious either.
These are one of the things they stock the kitchen with at the office with to try to trick us into eating something healthy. They’re honestly good though- I think I like them better than the real thing- much less grainy and sugary.
Got these last time, I like them quite a bit and have stocked my home office “mini kitchen” with them. My partner’s not a fan, though, which means I get them all to myself… whether that’s a good or bad thing depends on your point of view, I suppose. :}
Still haven’t finished the last batch, but I’m in for 2 more. I’ve tried every vegan peanut butter cup I could find with universal disappointment. Until these. They are actually very good.
Unfortunately, I read the comments and was compelled by you all to hit the “buy” button. Unfortunately, because I have to smuggle yet another massive box of Meh treats into the house and find a good hiding place for them, away from my spouse who doesn’t understand my snack addiction.
PS I am the only one in the mehniverse who has no idea how to paste a giphy into my comment.
@RetreadNJ / giphy (whatever gift text you want). To do this move the backlash next to the word Giphy without a space. Then a space and then what you want to be as a gif
@macromeh@yakkoTDI I think you can get the 60% online.
100% sounds inedible to me; maybe it’s the people who like Campari. I tried that once and it reminded me of bile.
@yakkoTDI@Kyeh Re: 54% vs 60% - I wonder if it is just a case of Belgium having more exacting standards for the labeling of chocolate products?
I’m a big fan of chocolate, but if I was handed a single unlabeled bit (i.e., not a side-by-side comparison), I’m not sure if I could definitively say it was 54% vs. 60%.
These peanut butter cups are delicous! The Quinoa makes it taste like a combo Nestle Crunch / Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup. Two of my favorites all in one.
I got these to give away - my sibs are Reese’s fans - but I had to try them. I like the dark chocolate, but the crispy quinoa isn’t really like rice crispies; it’s more like the crunch of the seeds in Fig Newtons. Which I don’t like much. 🫤
I just hope my brother and sister do.

How is there no tournament to eat these?
Dangit meh, I just finished the last of mine last night. They’re incredibly delicious. Must… Resist… Ordering…

@Knightp Ok, I finally gave in and bought it. Need to try not to eat them all now.
Got these last time, they are not bad, peanut butter is quit soft almost a liquid. My wife really likes them, good replacment for regular resses.

@1DisabledWarVet
You do know the chocolate is a No-No for dogs correct?
@1DisabledWarVet @chienfou I had an elderly uncle who used to feed his beloved dog Hershey’s kisses. He called them the dog’s “vitamins”. Hey I wouldn’t mind the almond butter ones?
I read Dark Chocolate and thought Meh had something healthy tonight. Then I read the fine print; contains Crispy Quinoa. You had to spoil it!
@hchavers it’s like Rice Krispies
They are delicious. I find them too sweet. I let them melt in my mouth. The first one (they are individually wrapped) leave me wanting for more, but at 70 Cal each, I just enjoy a second one
@meh770 Yep. Very soft filling, as others have said, but really tasty!
Ordered them last time. I was a little dubious about the quinoa, but it’s fine. Just a little bit of crispy in the peanut butter part. I like Unreals coconut bars, too.

I snagged these last time they were on sale. Definitely really liked them. Very tempted to order them again!
@sstaver You can do it!
/giphy temptress

@yakkoTDI Oh…you let the girls out of the trunk?
@detailer These are not ones that needed trunk services yet.
@sstaver, Well, hurry & get these because the Best By date is 02•15•2023 which is week after next!! 🫢

Omg. Why did you put these up again
Curse you, meh!
Of course I had to order.
@Ughleigh
Kind of answered your own question there didn’t you.

New Year Resolution over. Told myself no more crap purchases this year. But made it to Feb! So that’s something.

I purchase my chocolate-peanut butter treats in kit form. Slightly more effort - superior result.

@macromeh 54% seems oddly specific. I just wish I could find something below 70% these days. 60% would be just about perfect for me.
@macromeh @yakkoTDI
Ghirardelli makes a 60% one.
@Kyeh @macromeh Makes one and can find one are two different things.
@macromeh @yakkoTDI
Not distributed in Florida, huh?
@Kyeh @macromeh As more of the higher concentration dark chocolates have become available the lower concentrations have disappeared.
I am curious as to what kind of freak buys the 100% cacao bars.
@macromeh @yakkoTDI I think you can get the 60% online.

How small are the batches? Just want to be sure it’s not another small batch lie by big batch businesses.
@mexicantacos Less than a ton.
Im a fan of Reeses pb w/white chocolate.
These are quite good, but the chocolate taste is a fair bit stronger than the peanut butter taste. Still worth it.
