@stinks@troy Harbor Freight has fairly good ones at not too high a price, or at least used to. Any HW store or office supply store will have as well, but prices YMMV.
2.8 mil is the good thickness, and while I didn’t see anything saying what kind of adhesive is present, that’s seldom going to be deficient with this weight of backing. I don’t use 2" tape here, so this isn’t attractive to me, but this is pretty much the common standard for a lot of folks. The pistol-grip type of dispenser does a better job than the simpler ones, and you can get that kind from lots of suppliers. Overall, this is a pretty good deal.
@troy any idea of production date on these, and have they been stored for a hot Summer or two in a shipping container?
I’m not part of the “best by” expiration date police; this stuff can be good for years, but that’s the one thing that could make it into a sticky mess. “Sticky” is indeed what you want, but not “sticky mess” part.
@pmarin
Plus when they get too hot they have a tendency to separate between layers in spots making lumps in the roll which then make it a pain in the ass to dispense.
So for $36 you can tape over a mile. Just imagine the size of a the ball of take you can make!! Damn, I wonder how many it would take to re-enact Raiders of the Lost Arc when

Was just thinking I’m almost out of this and should pick up more on my next trip to Hobo Freight. This saves me the trouble.

@werehatrack yes definitely a good deal (see my next post question though).
2.8 Mil is good, just like my bank account balance
@werehatrack 3" is standard for a tape gun. I don’t know what you would do with 2". Maybe for a small box

@bigjl98 Oh that’s right, Indy ran first!
My kids have only ever seen the “enhanced” version, where the boulder runs from Indy.
Under the 3 what???
(or is it ?)
Using an old coupon only cost two bucks, so why not. Would prefer to get low noise tape, but at this price I don’t care if it wakes the neighbors.
@heartny like FeCr tape? Had to search to remember if I had it right. Cool that there is a site called “tapeheads”

Can always use more tape…
/giphy stormy-hopeless-story
@baqui63 That stop sign definitely needed more tape.
I think you’ve got a typo in the write up: “…under the three”
