I’ve been clean from Meh for about 2 months now, but dog treats will turn my head just about every time. I’ve got 3 dogs, and those non-tax deductible dependents are expensive.
As a (partly) colorblind person, I have to come to the defense of Dog Vision. Dogs are red-green colorblind, which is also the most common type among humans. The big difference is that very few people are completely red-green colorblind, but dogs are - they entirely lack the cones that distinguish the two colors. If you throw a yellow or blue ball into the grass they can see it easily, but if you throw a red one it just disappears.
@pmarin IIRC, cats see the same color range as humans, but not as intensely. They have fewer cones (which see color) and more rods (which sense light and movement).

My dog is too old to train and too small for the treats.
Did Meh finally run out of Kind bars?
What’s the expiration date for these?

No dog currently, but great write up, exposing the secret life of pets.

@merichmond never knew that. What about cats? I heard they have good low-light vision but maybe not colors.
