I’ve bought soooo many of these! At first, the taste is a little weird. You expect cheezy poofs, but they’re something a little different. Suddenly, that 5 oz. bag is empty, and you really don’t feel too bad about yourself, like you would after some other snacks. Worth it. Buy it. Eat it. Friends and family agree with me, and them’s the smart ones!
@ircon96@randoon I still have 1.5 boxes of the bigger bags in my basement or I would have bought more. FYI, you can usually find these on SideDeal, too.
@randoon@TimW Yep, i have a bunch myself, but since they don’t seem to be getting any later Best By dates, i figured i’d stock up. They don’t seem to be losing quality over time, that I’ve noticed, so hopefully that’ll be the case in the months to come!
@adavidw@jandrese@Lynnerizer I found them a little bland at first, too, but since i don’t often eat the regular kind, it didn’t take me long to get used to these. I find they satisfy a craving for crunchiness more than anything, with a little protein & fiber as a bonus. I haven’t tried it, but I bet they’d be good sprinkled with some of those powdered flavorings that people use on popcorn, or better yet, powdered cheeses (like Parmesan), or even nutritional yeast that vegans or health-conscious people use as a substitute for that kind of stuff.
if you didn’t get these, you can experience some of the magic by dusting corn starch packing peanuts with nutritional yeast for a satisfying and healthy snack.

@randoon agreed!
@randoon @TimW Yes! I could have written that EXACT comment. In the immortal words of David Letterman, you’ve crystalized my thoughts eloquently.

I was so excited to try these after seeing them offered here a few times. Comments were always pretty positive.
But I found them so disappointing! Mine taste like they forgot to put any cheese powder. These are way too bland.
Not a satisfying swap for junk food.
@adavidw You are not alone. I got these one time they were offered and nobody in my family liked them. I thought they were edible but disappointing.
@adavidw @jandrese
I’m taking your lead, it’s a pass!
