@yakkoTDI, Yeah, one of my fridge’s fuller, with AAs, then me after eatin hot tamales & drinking beer !! What I do need is more cow bells , I mean, more AAAs!!
Are these decent? Because I got some of Sam’s batteries, thinking I’d save some bucks, and they are HORRID! I’m constantly changing batteries in everything.
@Tadlem43 I bought some of these off woot years ago. They literally didn’t work. Like I put them in items and it wouldn’t power up. Amazon basic are way better. That said, maybe I got an old/bad batch but I tossed like 75 batteries.
@olsmeister Yep. I use AA/AAA eneloops in everything from remotes to smart locks to keyboards to video game controllers. I don’t think I’ve purchased a AA/AAA alkaline battery in at least seven years, and some of my eneloops have been in constant usage for almost a decade.
At this point, one-use batteries seem very weird to me.
@olsmeister@werehatrack AAA Eneloop can indeed leak and when they do it’s bad. It took a lot of effort to get one out of a fancy pen light after it leaked. The leakage dissolved the battery wrap, which then turned into glue.
I’m confused. It’s stated that Amazon sells for $34 and you can buy these from Meh for $25. Isn’t shipping free on Amazon Prime, but $6 shipping for Meh??!!
I just want a 4 pack for the iconic logo. My Uncle had the black cat bank. It was available as a free gift (by request) with purchase of Eveready batteries. It came from Union Carbide Corp.
@werehatrack Thanks. A nice addition to my memorabilia collection. I had the foresight to acquire some Uncle Ben’s and Aunt Jemima items last year. I guess that “Aunt Pearl’s Milling Company” wasn’t going to fly.
@joelmw I recall a previous bulk battery deal had both choices. (plus you got more of the AAAs since more of them fit into the case box). Can’t remember but I think it was the same type. This time just AAs, so maybe the AAAs sold-out.
Just really hope that these have been in an air-conditioned warehouse in the 115 degree summer.
@joelmw A lot of stuff can take either an 18650 or a three cell AAA these days. It’s kind of annoying because AAAs have way less juice in them than AAs but generally cost about the same. So much stuff has plenty of room for the AAs but spec in AAAs for no good reason.

I don’t have enough remotes or cheap flashlights to go through what Meh sold me before.
@hchavers Sounds like you are not buying enough Meh items. Re-education agents will be by shortly.
@hchavers @yakkoTDI, our guy needs a large dose of Indoctrination & a class in Get With De Program 101!!

@pmarin 22.5 volts? Now that’s a battery you can respect.
@shahnm Time to clean out the fridge! Who needs all that produce & deli stuff anyway?
@ircon96 Wait… that’s where you guys keep produce & deli stuff??
Nope
Holding out for 110 Mehnergizers.
@heartny
Did you create that image??
@Kyeh You don’t think these are real?! Yes, I did create this image.
@heartny That’s so cool!
@Kyeh Thank you
@heartny Very nice color combo
Are these decent? Because I got some of Sam’s batteries, thinking I’d save some bucks, and they are HORRID! I’m constantly changing batteries in everything.
@Tadlem43 These are sumilar to Amazon Basic in performance, according to the testing Todd did at Project Farm.

@Kolada @Tadlem43
Are you sure those weren’t the infamous Eveready Gold batteries? Those were just plain fecking awful. They weren’t even alkaline.
@Tadlem43 I stick with Duracell or Energizer. I’ve had subpar results with other brands.
@lisagd Yeah… I think next time I’m going with Energizer. Sam’s stopped selling Duracell, which I’ve always bought. I wish they’d bring them back.
@lisagd @Tadlem43 Duracell is having a problem with leakage from depleted batteries.
@bdb @lisagd Oh… well, then… Energizer, it is!
I use rechargeables.
@olsmeister Eneloops have about 60% of the runtime of Energizers for me. But they never leak.

What did these batteries say to the snack chips?
I’m Eveready, if you’re Frito Lay.
@bookerttt but then the snack chips said « break me off a piece of that Kit-Kat bar » and for some reason the batteries went running away.
I’m confused. It’s stated that Amazon sells for $34 and you can buy these from Meh for $25. Isn’t shipping free on Amazon Prime, but $6 shipping for Meh??!!
@mjonczak Only for commoners.
@mjonczak Shipping’s free here for some of us, bud–freer than Prime, arguably. 'Cause, yaknow, you’re paying for it somewhere.
I just want a 4 pack for the iconic logo. My Uncle had the black cat bank. It was available as a free gift (by request) with purchase of Eveready batteries. It came from Union Carbide Corp.
@detailer WallyWorld had four-packs of them for a while, I don’t know if they still do.
@werehatrack Thanks. A nice addition to my memorabilia collection. I had the foresight to acquire some Uncle Ben’s and Aunt Jemima items last year. I guess that “Aunt Pearl’s Milling Company” wasn’t going to fly.
Whenever I go looking for AAAs, I see all of the other AAs I bought from you guys. Sell more AAAs.
@joelmw Yeah, the really shitty thing is you keep selling me things that require AAA batteries.
/giphy that’s just mean
@joelmw I recall a previous bulk battery deal had both choices. (plus you got more of the AAAs since more of them fit into the case box). Can’t remember but I think it was the same type. This time just AAs, so maybe the AAAs sold-out.

@joelmw @pmarin warehouses are air-conditioned??!!
@joelmw @pmarin, 115°F¿? It’s 83° F here rat now & the high here yesterday was 85°, but I live in God’s Country, the Good Ole South, USA!!

If they’d been AAA’s I’d’ve bought them. The majority of the lamps in that recent deal take triples, not doubles.
i bought these before… theyre so weak
