Check it out before it's gone!
To be clear, this is a deal to purchase twenty dollars worth of credit on the DailySteals site for ten dollars.
They are not selling you ten dollars for your twenty dollars that you send them.
Also, note that it is a single-use code for $20 off that can be used any time in the next year, and it's limited to a single one per person, and they can't be combined and blah blah blah.
@curtise and if you use it on a mystery box you still overpaid by $5 ;)
We should do a similar one of these but make it $20 for $10 at Meh.com
@shawn you are so trying to be like starbucks.
@shawn Seeing how on kickstarter, the late backers sold out before the early backers, anything is possible here.
@thismyusername no for that to happen they have to sell a $20 credit for $80
@shawn @thismyusername Can we start getting bonus stars if we make purchases 20 days in a row?
@jimmyd103 DEMAND BONUS STARS!
@thismyusername
Disclaimer. I did buy the coupon code years and years ago, it took over a year before I tried to use the code, when I did try, the code did not work, they reissued me a new code (3 days later not ideal for a daily deal site) I then tried to use it months later and it did not work. I again emailed support they then told me to just let them know, but at this point it has been too long to take the chance.
My point is if your going to buy it make sure you use it soon.
Are you sure? Based on the mystery box I got...
I can't shop there because they do some shady stuff. Ever see their iPod shuffle "deals"? They list the retail as $99 for an iPod shuffle. It's actually $49 on Apple's site now, but a long time ago they were $99. When I contacted them about this they said technically it wasn't a lie because it was $99 at one point. They sell them for $45 - and yes that is a discount, but why try to deceive people into thinking they are getting a "steal" by playing games with retail pricing? Why mess with your customers that way. The thing I love about Meh is not only do they not do stuff like that, but there are times they will literally tell you NOT to purchase of their deals because the item is less than top line (those kids tablets for instance). I just don't want to support a business that will deliberately misled me like that just to make a buck.
@Superjimtendo Lots of companies do that. I still shop there because I can sort through the bullshit to find when they have actual deals. Granted even then it isn't always on useful items, but when it is can be nice to get a good deal on items!
@Saffer49 lots of companies may do that, but that's precisely why I try to avoid them when I can. Plus just because many businesses do lousy things doesn't make that thing any less lousy. But really all this does is make me appreciate Meh even more. They have earned my loyalty for as long as they keep the doors open. I like buying from them because I like the kind of people they are and the way they do business.
Has anyone received their $20 credit yet? First time ordering from DS.
@trisk On the item description it said the code would be delivered 24-48 hours from the end of the sale. Give it another day.
It's been 3 days for me and I have still not rec'd my $20.00 credit yet. I e-mailed customer support yesterday but I have not rec'd a response as of yet.
