10-23-17 Ghosts
8Do you believe in ghosts? Do they scare you?
Do you like to dress as one for Halloween?
What’s your favorite movies with ghosts?
I really enjoyed Thir13en Ghosts. (Wtf is up with that spelling) The first time I watched it was a long time ago. I watched it in the dark, by myself. It was scary, at the time.
Fuck those ghosts.
I loved the glass house with the writing. I would love to have a room with that.
This guy totally deserved this.

That band is more proof that nothing else cuts quite like Swedish metal. Love the speed guitar.
The metal tour goes to Australia tonight.

Ghosts (Vincent De Moor remix) by Tenth Planet from DDR:
Comic was posted yesterday, so perfect timing.
@mflassy so sad.
@mflassy I’ve always thought that Lillard’s character in 13 Ghosts was the kid from Sixth Sense all growed up. He sees dead people.
I did like that Thir13en Ghosts movie, it had excellent acting, decent suspense, good pacing, and clever gore effects. However Sixth Sense is still my favorite ghost movie, despite the inevitable Shyamalan shmaltz. The Devil’s Backbone is another favorite. The old Canterville Ghost movie with Charles Laughton is also a sentimental fav.
@aetris your review has made me want to watch 13 again today. Hopefully I can get around to it.
Definitely a Tuesday night kind of movie. Or, with a nod to @DrWorm, 2sday.
@aetris I finally watched this on Sunday. I wouldn’t say the acting was excellent, but I agree with everything else.
The Jackal ghost is fucked up. He was the creepiest one.
When people insist on spelling things like this, I am content on pronouncing them that way.

@DrWorm I chuckled.
Actually, 13 ghosts is definitely one of my favorites!
@mfladd the original 13 ghosts from 1960s or the 2001 Thir13en ghosts?
@RiotDemon 2001 version. I haven’t seen the 60’s version!
@mfladd in that version, the movie goers wore the glasses to see the ghosts instead of the characters in the movie. If you closed one eye, you couldn’t see the ghosts!
My favorite ghost movie is The Orphanage (2007). Spooky and heart rending. Other favorites include The Others (great double feature with The Orphanage), Poltergeist, The Sixth Sense, Crimson Peak (more for the beauty of it than the story), and a few oldies but goodies, The House on Haunted Hill (1959), Ghost Story (1981, starring Fred Astaire no less), Burnt Offerings (1976) and the Legend of Hell House (1973). Amityville Horror, The Entity and The Ring are creepy, but the stories aren’t rich enough to make my favorites list. Season One of American Horror Story was a very fine ghost story with an unexpected and strangely charming ending.
The Haunting (1963), The Innocents (1961), The Other (1972) and The Bad Seed (1956) are all pretty good in my book. And anything MST3K w/a horror bent is always good for a laugh.
I’ve seen a ghost - twice. True story.
@mfladd share!
@RiotDemon sigh…so many words to type (I’m not @f00l)
