12Do you enjoy carving pumpkins for Halloween? Halloween doesn’t feel quite right unless I carve a pumpkin.

At Halloween horror nights in Orlando they have a bridge with trees that overhang it to make almost a tunnel. They fill the trees with hundreds of carved pumpkins. It looks absolutely amazing. It makes me want to gather up those foam pumpkins and fill my oak tree with them. Too bad no one comes to my house. Of course I tried to find a photo, and no such luck.
Kenova, West Virginia, The Pumpkin House is famous worldwide. The owners of the house carve hundreds of pumpkins and decorate the entire outside of their house and property. They theme flashing pumpkins to music, have food vendors every night and it’s all for free.
How cool is this???

I finally got to see them live last year. What an awesome show. They played in this little tiny ass club so pretty much no matter where you stood, you had a great view.

This is the first time they had an entire album with one singer, Franky Perez. He also sang during the tour I saw. He was great. High energy. Sang the songs from other vocalists and made them his own.
Not Strong Enough
Random story. The one bowling alley sometimes does music videos on the screens above the pins. I got really tired of listening to rap so I asked them to play this song. It was the best game I had ever bowled by over 50 pins. The song ended in the 9th frame and so did my strike streak. The album actually has a different vocalist that I prefer more than the music video. Figures.

Carving two pumpkins with my daughter today. Since they are her first, we will probably stick with classic faces.
I thought I was so smart two years ago…It was way better than a lame yard sign, but still didn’t work out too well for me (or him)…
One of my neighbors won 1st prize though with this clever use of pumpkins…

@medz I only chose that one since it was a Metallica song and it tied back to the band I shared since they did Metallica covers and also string instrument.

My second pumpkin of the year. Not my favorite carving job. The pattern was too complex for my tiniest saw at regular size. This one definitely needed a bigger pumpkin and to enlarge the pattern.
My friend when he saw it, asked if it was a self portrait for today.
