A Full-Court Press of Noise Cancellation

In his review for Sound Guys, Brian Barbosa says that the audio profiles aren’t perfect and notes the “frustration of trying to set them in the app,” but ultimately comes down very positive, rating these Libratones an 8.2 out of 10:

If you need a headset that has a super long battery, that has active noise cancelling, and look great, the Libratone Q Adapt On Ear Wireless Headphones are for you.

Tim Gideon, writing for PCmag, comes to a similar conclusion:

The Q Adapt On-Ear are a solid, ambitious debut in the headphone department from Libratone. The noise cancellation is better than average, the audio performance is strong, if very sculpted, and the design is attractive and comfortable.

And really, that first thing, the noise cancellation is the most important point here. Because right about now, you might need a little break from everyone else living in your house. And what better way than with a little auditory alone time to listen to some classic rock. Or perhaps you want to enjoy the bizarre theatrics of the NBA restart while you work but nobody else in your house is all that interested in a full day of feet squeaks and fake crowd noise.

Or maybe you want to do both. By which we mean, maybe you want to listen to some of the famous basketball-related ballads of yesteryear. For example:

  • “We Wilt This City” by Starship
  • “Manu Are You” by The Who
  • “Bama Lama Bama Lou Williams” by Little Richard
  • “Cedric Maxwell’s Silver Hammer” by The Beatles
  • “Baracudellavedova” by Heart
  • “Dream LeBron” by Aerosmith
  • “Another Brick in the John Wall” by Pink Floyd
  • “All Alonz The Watchtower” by Jimi Hendrix
  • “Stairway To Kevin (Durant [or Garnett {or even Love}])” by Led Zeppelin
  • “Jukebox Herro” by Foreigner

Haven’t heard of those? Well, many of them are b-sides. As in basketball-sides.

Eh?

No?

Okay, whatever. Just buy the headphones please.
