"Indoor/outdoor" is the long way of saying "outdoor"

Have you ever seen any of these things indoors? Indoor/outdoor carpet. Indoor/outdoor furniture. Indoor/outdoor lighting. No, that off-campus apartment everybody got drunk in when you were in college doesn’t count. It barely qualifies as a human dwelling.

Let’s save everybody a couple of syllables. Instead of “indoor/outdoor”, just say “outdoor”. We’re talking about stuff that’s made to stand up to rain, heat, bugs, snow, sunshine. You wouldn’t pay extra for that if you’re just going to keep it in your house.
