I write about trends in the earbud industry for Wirenado, Gadge, and Tronique among other places. Today, I have a very special guest: head of the retail site Meh.com, it’s @Dave! TAP: As you know, I’m an earbud user and I’m an earbud lover, but one thing I’ve never done is sold earbuds. You, on the other hand, working in the world of ecommerce, sell many earbuds, correct?

DAVE: Yes, on Meh, we’ve sold a wide variety of different earbuds and headpho–

TAP: Whoa! Whoa! This is a family program, Dave! Don’t use the h-word here!

DAVE: What? You mean headpho–

TAP: I just said don’t say it. If it doesn’t go in the ear, it doesn’t go in my show, understand?

TAP: Anyway, one thing that makes your site unique is that it offers one deal each day. That means, while someone like me has the luxury to review only the most cutting edge in the bud-verse, you have to find something to say about every pair of earbuds you sell. So, how do you keep it fresh?

DAVE: That’s a great question, Tap. One thing we might do is use the product description space to talk about earbuds in general. We trust our audience to know what wireless earbuds are, so maybe instead of describing exactly how they work, we might talk about something more conceptual.

TAP: Interesting. Like what?
